The vampire-wolf duo them continue to drink the coffee as Jay prepares what to asked first. He was curious about the mate thingy but also wants to ask about the difference between a male and female omega.

"So what do you mean when you say you're the lowest? I mean, there are other omegas right?"

"Well. . . you're right but they're females. . technically I'm not just a low ranked wolf but an embarrassment as well. . my pack is not the same as others. . in there, women regarding their ranks will give birth, a plus if the female is a beta or gamma. . and being an omega is not really useless as they still can give birth so they are still valued. . but in my case, . . it's different. . I'm a male, how can I even get pregnant? Added to that, my parents are known because of their bloodline, they're both from legendary families of betas .  . . but then, I was born . .  so yeah, that's why I'm the lowest of the low and why my parents never acknowledged me . . "

Jake was trying hard to swallow his tears as he said those words to Jay. He felt like anytime soon, Jay will kick him to the curb but seeing Jay's concerned eyes and worried face made him happy to think that someone actually wants to care about his existence.

"So . . for them, you're overall, useless?"

"Yeah . . . they never want to even think I'm alive. . when they kick me out, they said to not go back again as I am now dead to them . . . a male wolf should be a beta, gamma, or alpha. . omegas are for females. . I'm cursed right?"

Jay almost want to hunt Jake's family and suck their disgusting blood and spit it out in some sewer. Let their bodies be the Rouge's food as well. Jay shivered at his thoughts realizing how gruesome that be and added to that, disgusting.

"Wait . .  no, you're not a curse .  .  don't assume right away.  .  anything unusual is either a curse or a blessing. What if the moon goddess has something amazing planned for you? And also why he fated you with a vampire? . . hey I want to ask something but I want you to not think of anything else I'm curious, how does your mate look like? . is he handsome? .  ."

Jake smiled when he remembered the scent when he found his mate. It is very refreshing and how he look like a literal prince asleep on a bench.

"I guess he's handsome then"

Jake nodded and Jay just give him a teasing smile behind the glass of blood he's sipping.

"I don't even know how to describe how he look. . . he's just so unreal and he looks like he's a good vampire. . "

"Did you get his name?"

Jake stopped and think of when he heard the name of his mate, when his wife called him.

Wife. . . the soon mother of his unborn child.

Jake's smile faded when he again realized that his mate will in no way be his. He will stay as the lone useless wolf no one even his mate will ever choose.

"Didn't I told you not to think of anything else?. . never assume otherwise stated. As long as you're still here, you'll gonna find you purpose. There's a reason we met Jaeyun and that's for me to know and you to find out. . for now, let me tour you, I don't want you to be lost in here"

Jake find Jay really comforting as if he knew him from his past life. Or is Jay really very approachable and trustworthy and friendly. He's good with strangers like Jake himself.

Also, no one can deny that this vampire is really attractive, especially when he smiled. Without his fangs, he looks cute but with fangs, it's another story. You can't blame Jake now for wishing and asking the moon goddess if she can just make Jay his mate instead of Sunghoon.
