Sunghoon went limp in my arms just in time for Jay to enter the room with a bottle on hand. It's a medicine developed by wolves just in case they accidentally encountered the wolfsbane and in a saving potion in wars when the enemy used the poisonous flower.

However, I know the bottle of medicine isn't enough as he was stabbed by silver and it might take time to heal him but I hope we're not too late, I hope we're not too late to save him and the silver hasn't caused any damage.

After we let him drink the medicine, he's still not responding to anything. I know he's naturally cold and the way his hands feel right now is colder, even with my hot palms, I still can't hold onto his hands for so long as I feel the cold. That's how cold he is right now.

Sunoo was beside him all the time, crying and calling out to him. It's so heartbreaking to see a child go through this phase. Imagine hearing your child's first words when you're in the brink of death. I felt how Sunghoon tried to stay conscious but failed and it is painful for me to see.

Most of all, my brother, my own brother showed me that no matter how much someone means to you, there is still someone who matters most to you and that someone is his father. I can't believe after all these years, I thought my brother is on my side but it turns out that he's never on my side. He just loves his parents and that's all. My brother is a strong beta but what he can be easily manipulated, "to see is to believe" that's his motto. I'm mad I have to be the one to almost kill him, I look up to him but it is no use now, I now despise him.

Sunoo is now just silently crying as he laid beside Sunghoon continuously tapping his face and looking back at us as if he's asking why his father is not responding like he used to.

We are still hoping the medicine will take effect soon but those hopes were crushed when his mother began to sob continuously whispering how his son is not dead.

Wait, vampires can detect the death of a son or daughter as their bonds cannot be felt anymore by the living one. Does this mean Sunghoon is dead?

Jaeyun whimpered in pain and I began to loose my strength.

"I can't feel our mate Jake"

Me too Jaeyun, me too.

Sunoo on the other hand continued to call his dad out, he's totally clueless of what is going on which totally broke me and my knees give up making me fall on the floor. Sunoo then crawled towards me before settling himself on my lap and hugging my neck as he let out soft cries.

I held onto him as much as I can.

Just then, someone burst in through the window. Please don't be someone from my previous pack please.

"What's happening?"

I look up to see Riki standing clueless in the room with some stuffed toys on his hand.

"I'm sorry Riki . . . Sunghoon just . .---"

He too looked dumbfounded that he dropped what he's holding and walking close to Sunghoon.

"What are you doing?"

Jay asked and Riki immediately turn his eyes to me before checking my mark.

"He's still alive . . .didn't he told me before he marked you? so he's your mate?"

I slowly nodded before he slowly moved Sunghoon's head to the side.

"Mark him as well. . ."

"Wait . . it won't work on Sunghoon because he's a vampire and he just had the antidote for wolfsbane. Wolves' poison could literally kill him for real this time. . "
