I didn't waste any second and immediately followed where Jake went off to. I mean, I can't let him go anywhere alone especially when I know I can protect him. I know he can defend himself but I am also aware of the dangers out there especially when I saw how his route is headed towards the forest.

Driving as fast as I can, I tried to locate him and the GPS has led me to the forest where my old home was located. I saw how all the houses are nowhere to be found. This is a ghost town if you ask me.

I panicked when I saw Jake's car wrecked and it seem to hit a free but what makes me more terrified is the fact that the car is empty and there are claws all over his car. Did he get attacked by wolves or rouges?

How I wish I can also smell him.

Then I remembered that Jake's body heat can be above normal and he has fire powers. I think I can track him through that.

I iced the ground and immediately, I saw prints of feet so I followed and it led me to a house that managed to survive the attack from the humans.

My intention to kill skyrocketed the moment I look inside and saw the wolves that attacked us and kill my dad and sister. I saw them and if that's not enough, Jake is seated on a chair as he was tied with silver chains which I am aware that if I touch will literally burn me.

"You almost killed me you little brat. I will kill you. Didnt I tell you that if I see you again you will be dead? Now look at you, you will be gone without anyone caring. . . too bad. . . "

The other wolves around him laughed as I saw how Jake's eyes are filling with tears. He seems to be so weak. Did they drug him?

It is impossible for him to be this weak. I know he's been sick but he can't be this weak. He is conscious but his body is so limp that if he's not tied, he would've been on the floor.

"You will be punished you stupid loser. You dare set foot on the forest. . . you go boys. . "

I can't take this anymore. I. took off my jacket as I used it to cover my nose because these guys stink so bad that I almost threw up.

One of the men held Jake's face roughly as his knife pointed towards his neck.

Don't you dare touch him.

The men began to circle him and I'm not an idiot to not see what they're doing. My anger was not bottled anymore the moment the whole place froze. The men can't move due to the ice slowly engulfing their body.

I slowly let myself known as I stepped closer to them.

"vampire!"

The man shouted and I just stared at their faces as I picture how I will kill them. But before that I released Jake from the chains as I tried so hard not to scream in pain from all the silver I'm touching. I can't freeze them or else Jake can be frozen too. I'm in no proper control of my powers due to my emotional un stability.

"Hot. .. "

Jake is shaking.

What did they injected to him?

"What did you do to him"

Most of them seem startled when one of them spoke.

"The boss injected him with. . . . pills . . . it kind of . . . makes the wolf . . . in heat. . .  it is popular with omegas . . .  when they want to reproduce quickly. . . . I think it's taken effect . . ."

A drug that can make someone in heat? No wonder Jake is this weak.

I didn't know how it happened but a growl escaped my lips as I launched at the one who seem to be in charge. Also the wolf who stabbed my father to death.
