"Is it really strange to you that Sunoo easily finds me comfortable?"

I look at Riki beside me who's just looking ahead.

"Yeah .  Jay spent a few days before Sunoo can stay with him for an hour or so. ."

"Really? . . how about Jake?"

"He didnt even put a lot of effort. Sunoo just finds him comfortable. . although I don't know how he easily get comfortable with you. ."

"I'm honored actually. . ."

"I know . ."

I don't know where this kid is going with this conversation.

"You can trust me you know"

I let out a laugh because I myself know I can trust him. I'm just really waiting for him to prove it. Well I want to see how far can I trust him.

"I haven't seen how you are and I don't really know who you are so . . . give me some time. ."

"Not only about Sunoo . . about Jake as well. . . if he gets in my pack, I know he will be fine and I can assure you that"

Right.

Not even a few months in the scene and Riki is already out here managing to snatch two of the most important beings in my life, my son and my soulmate. How he does that?

"I sure hope so because even if you're an alpha, if these two manage to get hurt because of you, don't expect me to spare you"

"I won't want to fight with a vampire so yeah, my life can be on the line. But I won't mess up so no worries"

"Why wouldn't you want to fight with me?"

"I would loose in an instant. I mean, you have no idea how I am always told to not mess with vampires like you. You guys are unpredictable. Added to that, you can fly"

True. .  I am also surprised sometimes with my own abilities.

"But I'm serious. You only have one shot and if you mess that up, I won't give you another. If you mess up, I won't help you, it's my son's choice now. . by the way, are your parents aware that your mate is a baby?"

Riki stiffen at my question making me conclude that his parents have no idea that his mate is a baby. I am not surprised if he still didn't tell them that his mate is a vampire.

"I . . I am scared to tell them. . . I mean--"

"Why?"

"Well, I'm their only heir and I must lead soon and also, it is expected of me to also make myself an heir. My ancestors founded the pack and it has been centuries since our descendants rule and dad wanted it to be that way. . I'm not really sure how they will take it in"

I stepped on the breaks as I look at him. Is he serious? How dare he say that I should trust him when he is not even sure about my son?

"So if they won't accept Sunoo, what now? . . "

"I can fight for him, I will fight for him. He's my soulmate and I don't want anyone else"

"How about your bloodline thingy? I'm sure your father will impose it"

"He will but . . . ---"

"If you cant find a definite answer, then don't ever think of continuing to pursue Sunoo. . "
