In My Blood (En- JakeHoon)

Jake was seated on his desk as he work on the files that the accountant just gave him. He is the head of the finance department in Jay's company and even in a short span of time that he went to school and Jay teaching him, he managed to make it to the position. He's the best finance head Jay has ever had.

He began to focus on his work as his fingers move from one keys to another as his other hand is steady on the mouse clicking here and there.

Pressing enter, he leans back admiring the numbers on the screen. His short break was then cut short when the door to his office opened and his mate's scent was all over the office.

He look up and indeed, Sunghoon is entering the office. He then heard giggling coming from behind him.

Looking back, he smiled as Sunoo gave him a huge toothless smile as his eyes almost disappear with the immense laughter.

"Sunoo get off there . . "

Sunghoon immediately grab his son as he bowed apologetically to the smiling male.

"I'm sorry Jake . . . he's just excited . . "

"It's alright. Happy to see him. ."

Sunghoon left without looking at Jake again making the said male to frown.

Yeah . . . of course.

After working on the finances, Jake decided to take a break as he is already feeling hungry after missing breakfast.

He locked his office before heading to the elevator and went to the canteen where he saw Jay and Sunghoon currently talking while Sunoo is enjoying his ice cream.

Wait, why are they feeding a baby ice cream?

"Jake!"

He saw Jay calling him so he slowly walked towards them.

"Yes?"

"The thing is, Sunghoon has some errands to take care of and I have a meeting in a few minutes. Sunoo will not have anyone to look after him. Can you please?"

"I'm not sure about that"

Jake looked at Sunghoon as he said those words.

Jake can always look after Sunoo anytime but still, Sunghoon's permission is important too. Jake is aware how this certain vampire don't trust his mere existence.

"No . . . I will bring him back home to my mom. .  come on Sunshine, that's enough"

Sunghoon and Sunoo was out of sight in a quick motion making Jake sigh.

"I'm sorry about that Jake . . ."

Jake sucked back in the tears that he is about to cry before giving Jay a small smile and made a quick run to his office. His hunger is suddenly gone.

He's so full now. . . . full of pain.

He locked his office door and cried the tears that's been wanting to come out for a long time now.

"You're used to this Jake. . . come on . .  you've experienced worse. . . this is just one of the . . p---pain"

He can't convince himself.

This sure is the most painful so far.

Just then,  he felt an immense pain on his chest as if something is drilling into it.

Confused, he stood up and immediately pressed the button on his table paging for Jay who immediately entered the room.

"Jake . .!!"
