I can't wait for this ceremony to be over as the moment Jungwon called my name, I can't wait another second to pull him and hug him as tight as I can and talk with him as long as I can. It's been years that I didnt see him or here anything about him but I never forgot him. I don't want to forget him. Every time me and my parents would visit them, his mom always tell us to come back soon as Jungwon is doing this and doing that or Jungwon is with her brother, her sister, her mother, her father. Many years have passed and we never went back to visit them as they were gone from their house and none of us, even Jay knew where they moved to.

"Let us welcome our new alpha, our new leader, Riki!!"

I was taken out of my trance when his name was announced. I immediately stood up as I clap for him. His father took off his sword and handed it to Ni-ki. The sword in this pack is like the crown in the palace of kings.

The new alpha now stood before the whole pack and my nerves stiffen again.

"Thank you for welcoming me as your new leader. I want to assure you that the life my father has given to this pack, I will make sure to not loose it. I will lead in my own way and I promise to put the pack first before myself. Only the leader has changed but the unity, the identity, the strength and the reputation of this pack remains. I will lead with the pack to lead me. Let us all walk towards the new page together and I hope you all could help me lead you"

He look back at me before extending his hands. I took his hand and stepped forward as I stand beside him and the pack roared in cheers and claps making me sigh in relief.

"As an alpha, I can't know everything. I need my other half, my soulmate and the pack also needs someone to care for them with a gentle touch. The pack needs their Luna and I am very much happy to introduce him to all of you. My mate, Sunoo"

The whole hall erupted with applause and I can see everyone with a smile on their faces making me give the biggest smile I could. I am so happy.

"Just as you respect your alpha, you will also show that respect to your Luna. Disrespecting him is also disrespecting me"

The crowd cheered and before I knew it, I was pulled by my waist and a familiar pair of lips landed on mine. I smiled before I kissed him back.

It was just a few seconds as we cannot be letting babies see an unholy sight this early.

After a few more words , we went back to our seats and I can't held but held onto his hand tighter.

"Don't worry Sunny . . . you're gonna be fine"

"You didn't tell me this is gonna be nerve wrecking"

He laughed before kissing my knuckles and I swear I just saw my dad throwing glares at Ni-ki. Well sorry my dear father but I am his, before he can even claim me his.

It was a bloody and nerve wrecking minutes of my life but finally, it was over. I looked over at the alpha next to my love and he doesn't look very approachable.

"Babe, who's the wolf bedside you?"

He smiled before whispering back to me.

"I have no idea. . but he's dad's friend. He's also strong according to him. . why?"

"Between you and me, I like how his mate looks. I mean, we're totally of the same vibe right?"

"Yeah . want to talk to him? Make some new friends?"

Does he not remember Jungwon?

He spoke to that alpha who clearly glared at Jungwon before turning to me.
