Sunghoon

Jaeyun is so cute but the moment he transformed into his wolf made me mesmerized more and more. I mean, his fur is so white and so soft. His eyes are so blue and he's huge, I mean he's a wolf. It's actually ironic how our height differs in our human form and our animal form. I am taller than him and actually more built than him in our human form but when we transformed, he's a big wolf and I am a bat.

I smiled at Jay after Jaeyun ran inside the house. I'm actually in tears right now after seeing Jaeyun so happy. However, my mood went sour when I remembered how someone was after him because of what I did.

"Jay . . I have something to tell you. This is serious. ."

"What is it?"

"You remembered when Jake was taken and I rescued him? Well those who abducted him were the ones who killed my dad and sister. . . I killed them all . . . but one of them was the alpha from a nearby pack. . . when I went to the pack to take those drug, I heard them ask help from some wolf to kill Jake and us to avenge their alpha . . . I'm worried, this alpha they asked help from radiates a scary energy . . . ."

Jay seem to be shaken upon the mention of a possible attack towards us. I can't let anyone be in danger again. Now we even have no place to hide as this place is the human's territory, we could be killed instantly with one wrong move.

"What should we do? . . shall we leave?"

I look down as I don't want the idea of hiding. I tried so hard to blend with the humans so Sunoo won't grow up in an environment of constant fear and danger. I want him to live happily. But then this happened and I don't even know how to begin. We're just starting to live.

With Jake now as my mate, I want the best for him and I don't know if I should tell him about the threat to his life or not. He's so happy now and I hate to ruin it, I hate to take it away from him now that him and Jaeyun are doing so well. Also, this is just the start of Jaeyun to really live his life.

What have I done? I'm too reckless and I am also unaware of the consequences.

"What have I done Jay? .. Should we tell them?"

Jay was about to answer when the gates suddenly flung open and the vampire guarding it was thrown somewhere.

They're here already?

One male is leading followed by other men I assume are wolves who want to avenge their alpha.

"There's the vampire"

One of them pointed at me before they all surrounded both Jay and I leaving us no chance to warn the people, well residents in the house. Jake, my mom, Sunoo and Jungwon are inside, all vulnerable beings are there.

I look at Jay before he nodded and I transformed into my bat form and Jay did his best to freeze the time giving us chance to escape and enter the house. Unfortunately, we're surrounded as the moment we enter the mansion, the other wolves already have my mother and Sunoo with Jungwon still squirming.

"Now you pay for what you did to our alpha"

I flinched when I saw how a silver shines in the light with a touch of wolfsbane on the edge. Memories of my wife flooded my mind. I don't want that to happen again.

Sunoo saw me and immediately reached out with tears in his eyes to me and I know he can already sense he's in a dangerous hold.

Jay thankfully was quick enough to freeze them giving me enough time to grab the three of them before I freeze the whole place. A growl was heard and Jaeyun emerged from upstairs. One of the wolves looked shocked and almost in disbelief as Jaeyun began to rip wolves left to right before they even have a chance to shift.
