Cold night breeze under the moon, stars and dark sky while looking a the city lights is the most comforting feeling I have experience.

I was sitting silently above the hood of Jayson's car, with my hands caressing both of my shoulder to ease the coldness.

Instead of going home earlier, Jayson brought me here instead, in the middle of nowhere, where we can freely see the city lights.

Different building, establishment, store and houses, shows different color of light, they are so good on my eyes, so attractive and so comforting.

While I was staring the different light altogether now, I can't help but realize, there are different types of light, but they are all called light.

In our life, we face a lot of darkness, challenges and struggles that are hard to cope up, sometimes we even feel like we lost hope, that we should give up already because no matter what we do, we cannot just see any progress on our situation.

The reason why we can't see any progress it's because we as a person who struggles a lot expect to see the particular light and we feel disappointed because we couldn't see it, we always expect light to be color white, without knowing that light can be show in different colors, it can be red, blue, yellow, green and any other color.

What I am trying to imply is that,  problems doesn't have only one solution, but we always fail to find the others because our fucos was only meant for one solution.

Ngayon ko rin narealize, kaya natin naranasan ang mga bagay na nag bigay ng kadiliman sa ating buhay para makita ang liwanag.

We have to be embrace by the darkness first before we could finally to see the different types of light.

"Hey..." Napalingon ako sa tabi ko ng bigla siyang nag salita, nag kasulubong ang mga mata namin. Matangkad si Jayson kaya kahit na nakapatong ako sa cotse niya at siya ay nanatili lang nakatayo sa lupa habang nakasandal sa cotse dito mismo sa tabi ko ay mag ka pantay parin ang mukha namin.

I raised my brows towards him, I know he didn't see it clearly dahil  nasa madilim na parte kami.

"Ano?" I ask while looking at him

"You are so silent, are you thinking about something?" He carefully ask.

I just sigh and caress my shoulder more, the more the night goes deeper the more it gets colder.

"You're cold" he stated

"Obviously" pag tataray ko sa kanya, inikutan ko pa ng mata kahit hindi naman niya iyon makikita.

"Unfortunately I didn't have a jacket with me" he said sadly, tumunga siya sa hawak niyang beer in can, he purse his lips bago ipinatong ang dalawang siko sa hood at bumaling sa harap namin kung saan makikita ang city lights.

"It's fine, Kaya ko namang indahin ang lamig" sagot ko

"You probably see the light on front of us" I look at him when he suddenly say that, but he just remain staring at the city light from a far "but the truth is that, the light is here with me in this dark place, sometimes lights doesn't always tend to shine, sometimes they are the person who stays with us on the dark, console us and embrace us no matter how flawed we are" this time he looks at me, I gulped because of that.

"You are my light Ariel" he said with full of sincerity while staring directly on my eyes

Natamimi ako dahil doon

"And that is my reason why I can't stay away from you no matter how much you tried to push me away, because you are the only medicine who makes me sane in this crazy world" his voice was low, his face was a bit gloomy, while I was staring at him right now
