Different.. | Xiao x Lumine

"Lumine? What are you doing up so early?" Paimon flew over to Lumine who was sitting at the table, staring out the window.

"There was some ruckus outside that woke me up." She smiled at Paimon as she stood up.

"Well ok then, Paimon will be right back!" She quickly flew out the window as Lumine tried to stop her. Lumine quickly ran over to the window to stop her but she was already gone.

Things are playing out just like her nightmare. She tapped her foot as the vision of Xiao entered her thought. Her breath hitched as she tried to forget about it.

"Xiao?" She hesitantly called out his name.

"Yes?" The adeptus suddenly appeared in front of her. She quickly ran over to him and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Are you ok? You look tired." He gently wrapped his arms around her waist as she seemed to relax. His cheeks turned a light shade of pink.

"Ya I'm fine. I just couldn't sleep last night."

"How come?"

"Oh um... I don't remember it all that well." That was a lie.

"Oh, we'll if you remember and want someone to talk to I'll be there."

"Of course!" Another lie..

Lumine gently pulled away and looked up at him. She stiffened as their eyes met. The guilt of lying to his felt heavy on her shoulder as she smiled at him.

"Would you like to hangout today?" Her voice slightly cracked at the last word but she played it off as if she was clearing her throat.

"Sure. Where should we go?" Xiao gently held out his hand for her to hold. As if he was taking her off to some magical neverland that had every desire she ever wanted.

"Where ever you wish!" She smiled as she held his hands in both of hers. She couldn't help but blush as the words came out unexpectedly.
