Lumine rubbed her eyes as she sat up. She looked at Xiao, who was still asleep. She wasn't sure how long she had been asleep, but she was hungry.
She dug through her bag to find a mushroom skewer. She smiled until she looked at Xiao. He would probably be loopy from the blood loss.
She took a few bite of the skewer before getting up and going outside. She looked around and saw a hillichurl camp. She smirked as she drew her sword and ran to them.

Defeating them felt more joyful than before. She rolled her eyes as she made extra skewers and got a cold pot of water.
She carried the water back to the small hut and sat it on a table. She poured some of the water into a small, wooden cup and sat it beside Xiao.
She quickly ran out of the hut to get some berries from outside.
She jumped and dropped the berries when she noticed Xiao was sitting up and rubbing his head.
She instantly ran over to him and wrapped her arms around him.
"Xiao! You're ok!" She cried as he hugged her back. She smiled as she pulled away until she remembered the cave..
