Injury

Xiao stumbled down the path as nature was strangely quiet. Not like he noticed anyways.

His breath was heavy as he kept tripping over his own feet. Blood dripped down the right side of his face. His blood.

He sat at the bottom of the Rex Lapis statue. His arms immediately failed him, so he rested them on the ground in front of him.

"I have to protect.. Liyue." He mumbled as he looked up. He could barely see, and his head falling to the side wasn't helping at all.

His body kept leaning forward, and he would've fallen over if his legs weren't stopping him.

There was blood all over him.

"I'll just take a quick nap.." He told himself as his head hung down.

This couldn't be happening, could it? There was no way.

Lumine's breath hitched as she stared at the man's figure below the statue.

"Xiao!" She called as she gently lifted his chin. Her hand was suddenly covered in warm blood from his face. "Xiao, wake up!"

Paimon started crying as Lumine quickly pushed her ear against Xiao's chest. There was a faint heart beat, so faint that she decided to even check his pulse.

"Serenitea pot." Lumine summoned as Paimon, Xiao, and her were transported into the abode.

She dragged Xiao inside as Tubby simply smiled at the entrance.

She laid him on floor of the guest room as she quickly started to treat his wounds. She sighed as she was able to stop the bleeding.

She gently laid him on the guest bed before laying the blankets over him.

"I think he'll be ok, but I can't help but worry.." She sighed as Paimon hovered beside her.

"Don't worry, Lumine! Xiao will be just fine." Paimon smiled as lumine looked at her. She smiled before hugging her friend.

She got up to leave, but stopped. She looked back at Xiao. She quickly kissed his forehead before running off with Paimon.
