Different.. | Xiao x Lumine

Lumine sighed as she turned to Paimon.

"It's been a few days since I've seen Xiao.. do you think he's ok?" Lumine fidgeted with her bangs as Paimon flew over to her.

"Paimon is sure he's fine! He's an adeptus after all." Paimon shrugged as she hugged Lumine.

Lumine nodded. "I think I'll go looking for him though. Just to make sure he's ok!" She hugged Paimon before she quickly ran out the door.

Lumine's hugged her arms as she walked down the pathways. She was on her way to Jueyun Kasrt. Xiao often stayed there because it calmed him somehow.

She felt a shiver down her spine as she felt a familiar presence. This presence somehow felt demonic and strange.

She's never felt something like it's but then it is also strangely like the person she loves.

She stopped as she looked as a dark cave. She looked around before slowly walking towards the entrance.

Her breathing became heavy as the aura around it was horrifying. It only got worse as she went deeper into the cave.

All she could hear was her own footsteps.

She stopped when she saw red vines. They were strange, they would alter to red and black and somehow seemed to be alive.

Many of them trailed into the cave, some were ripped as as black as coal.

She bent down and touched one of the 'alive' vines. She retracted her hand as it turned into a light yellow and withered away. It let out a whispery sound.

She shook her head as she continued inside the cave.

She stopped as she saw the vines turn. She looked to the side and saw they were wrapped around something.

She squinted her eyes as she slowly crept closer. She gasped as she saw Xiaos hair.

She immediately ran over to him and knelt in front of him. She gently cupped his cheeks and looked at his face.

His lip was bleeding but he was still breathing. His eyes were a light, clouded yellow instead of his bright amber eyes.

She looked around his as she saw the vines wrapped around his body. She felt tears fall down her cheek as she grabbed them.

The ones she grabbed withered away but some began to crowd around them.

"What are you doing?!"

Lumine coughed as something hit her stomach. She gasped for air as she eventually got him free.

Lumine held onto him as he fell towards her.

She gasped as a vine wrapped around her neck. She grabbed it and started to pull Xiao to the entrance of the cave.

She trapped as the vines began to wrap around her ankle and wrist. Luckily they had made it out of the cave so Xiao was safe.

She smiled as the vines pulled her back. She groaned as her back hit the cave wall.

She heard whispers all around her as she get her wrist stuck to the wall.

"Why would you save him?"

"Who are you?"

"She must be one as well."

Most of them got mixed with each other and she couldn't tell a difference in their words anymore.

She stiffened as the vines fell loosely around her neck.
