In Nesby's vision, it's dark and creepy, not even a ray of light can penetrate through her eyes. She felt as someone is grabbing her shoulders, not letting her go. She struggled to open her eyes because she felt there is strong glue on her eyes.

She tried to open her eyes, only for her to realize she is in the exact place where she is abandoned. "Wait, where am I?" Nesby only remembered she is shot with something as she touches the back of her neck.

She saw workers caught up to her, shot her with something sharp and most importantly. she witnessed her friend throwing her alone. Nesby shook her head, hopefully, things are going to be fine.

She took up her bag and sweeps away all of the dust that is accumulating on her clothes. Nesby also repositioned her glasses and walked out of the forest.

At first, Nesby walked out of the forest and to the city, only for people to look at her with a very weird expression. She doesn't know why but she still decides to continue the walk.

No matter how confident Nesby is walking in the streets, people can't help themselves but start mocking and talking about Nesby. She tried ignoring but the hate started taking all of her head.

While still on her way home, she saw a little boy crying with his mother holding his hands. Probably still doesn't believe the way people called her, Nesby still tried to walk up to the little boy and comfort him. "Aww, what happened young kid?"

When Nesby's hand is still patting on the child's head, the child's tears get even more intense. He saw something on Nesby and quickly hugged his mother. "Mami, look at her. She is creepy,"

"Hey, how do you still have the guts to talk to my son?"

"What? You are thinking everything wrong, miss. I was just-"

"Before Nesby can finish her explanation, the mother interrupted her words. "I guess you are just seeking attention. No one has the right to touch my sweet, little son,"

"No, miss. I wanted to help comfort your son since he is crying so hard,"

"I would reject that. Look at yourself before trying to act 'nice'," The mother left and pulled her son away from Nesby.

In the end, Nesby started to believe what people thought of her in the first place. Realizing how much it is affecting her, she quickly ran into a nearby washroom. She pushed through the front door and ran to the women's washroom.

She puts down her bag while screaming at what she saw. Other than the messy ponytail and her untied bow, what shocked Nesby the most, is her bright yellow eyes. "How do I got them and, why?"

She still looks at her own in the mirror, clueless at what she just saw. Nesby finally knows why people are talking about her, it was her yellow bright eyes that were causing her to get so much hate.

"How did my olive green eyes turn into yellow all of the sudden?" Nesby cried in front of the mirror. Soon, her world is full of horror with all of them talking bad about her.

Her tears also changed drastically. It started accumulating at the corners of her eyes as it slowly rolls down to her face, only for the tears to have yellow sparkles. The tears started dropping to the surface of the sink and sparkled.

Luckily, no one is in the toilet with her, or else her big appearance will be known to everyone in her school. "I'm scared to let anyone know what happened to me, what should I do?"

She covered her face using her hands and tried wiping away the tears on her face. "Stop crying, please, all of them are going to know this if you continue,"

Nesby also controlled her feelings, so people were unable to see her teary face. She repositioned her glasses, took her bag and left the washroom. The moment she left the washroom, no one saw her face and let out a deep breath.

Despite not knowing why she tried finding any reflecting objects to check her eyes. It turns out it changed back to normal after a while. "When did it just turn back?"

Nesby's head is still full of questions, but as long as she can turn back to normal, she doesn't matter. Right now, she has to go home because her parents would be worried for her at this point.

With a heavy heart, she reached home with everything untidy and unprepared inside, Nesby opened the door, only for her mother to stand in front of her.

"Mom?"
