Sometimes it's a good thing, other times, not so much.
She had space from her best friend, she took time off, not voluntarily but it just happened that way.
Her best friend had other things to pay attention to and so she was left to her thoughts.
Probably not a good thing, but it happened.
And so she started to realize that she doesn't need her best friend as much as she thought.
Maybe she does need someone to keep her company but she can do without people.
Maybe that was a good thing.
Maybe that was a sign to let go.
But every time she brought up the topic, her friend said that it was because of them not talking to each other as much.
She told him maybe it's better they no longer remain friends.
He said that it was his fault, that he was busy but he didn't realize that maybe it was better off this way.
She was a broken girl that didn't know what to do, a girl that ended up making the people around her blame themselves because she was too broken to be fixed.
It wasn't his fault.
It was hers for not knowing what she wanted.
Maybe space for her wasn't good. But at least if they stopped being friends he will not get hurt.
