Standards or expectations?

He became her best friend.

Considers her as his best friend too.

But he doesn't know what he signed up for.

She is a bomb waiting to go off.

He doesn't understand just how messed up she is.

He sees her as this perfect person who can do no wrong.

He thinks she is different.

Maybe she is.

Just not in the way he thinks.

She is different in a way no human is.

She is different in the sense,

That when she is angry she wants the world to know,

When she is in pain she wants people to figure it out,

When she is hurt she wants someone to comfort her,

But she will shut everyone out making it impossible to help her,

Sometimes she just wants to cry and wants someone to care but also not care at the same time,

She just expects so much from him and he doesn't even know it.

How is anyone supposed to help a wreck like her?

She can't help her then no one can.

She pretends this is a way for her to set standards so that she can only have the best.

But are they really protecting her or harming her?

Are they standards or expectations too toxic?

She is the fire in a sealed room and he is the human. Eventually she will burn up all the oxygen and in turn killing him.

How is she supposed to stop when this is what she has done to herself?

When hurting people is all she knows...
