Are you happy?

POV Charlotte

When I wake up I can hear him on the phone. I can't hear what he is saying.  I get out of bed and I find him still on the phone. He pulled me into his lap, and kept talking.

A: I need to get off here. I'll call you back later.
A: No, really there is someone sitting in my lap distracting me.

He grabbed me and kissed my neck.

A: What's that look about?
C: Are you happy?
A: Yes. Are you?
C: Very.
A: Where is this coming from?
C: You could have a different girl morning and night. It just gets in my head sometimes.
A: I have lived that life.  I do not want it.  If I did I wouldn't have married you. I am so happy. Is it because of the nurse?

POV Austin

She nods her head yes.

A: I knew it bothered you.  Baby I would never do that.  No one can or does compare to you.  I love you.

She is crying. I just hold her as she sobs.  She stops.  I rub her face. 

A: No one, princess.

I call a priest.  He comes over.

A: We are already legally married. I just want to renew.
P: Today?
A: Now if possible.
P: Sure.

I text her.

A: We have a visitor come down stairs dressed please.
C: OK.

She comes down stairs. I hold my hand out for her to take. She does.  The priest stands up and begins the vows.

She laughed.

C: I Do.
A: I Do.

I slip him extra.

C: Are you going to marry me every time I feel insecure?
A: I will marry you every day for the rest of my life if that is what it takes.
C: You are too much. 
A: We just got married, you knew that. 

She laughs and sinks into my chest.

C: Austin, I'm sorry.
A: For what?
C: I was a little mad because you didn't tell me when she tried to...
A: Stop. It.  I would have been a little mad too.
C: I love you
A: Love you too. Let's go lay down for a little while.
C: Sounds good.

We lay down. She is laying on my chest.

A: You didn't know you were part owner in the casino?
C:  No.  I talked to Stan.  They were afraid that Ken would take it all.  He had isolated me from everyone.  Uncle Will was waiting until
I called for help.
A: That's OK I guess.
C: It is, what it is, Austin.
A: Are you ok?
C: I'm fine.  I'm still a little sore. 
A: Did you take your meds?
C: No.
A: Charlotte.
C: Austin,I forgot.

I got her meds and some water.

C: I need a hobby.
A: What would you like to do?
C: I have always wanted to play the guitar.
A: I can teach you.
C: I don't know.  You might divorce me.  I'm not a very good student.

I laughed.

A: You can't get rid of me that easily.
C:  Promise if you start to hate me, you'll tell me.
A: Do I need to marry you again today? I can call.
C: Austin, you are ridiculous.
A: I'm madly in love.
C: I am too.

She dozed off to sleep. I watched her make funny faces while she slept.

C: Stop. No Please.

She is screaming and crying.

A: Wake up, baby. It's just a bad dream.

She sets up, still crying.  I hold her close to me. 

A: Are you ok?
C: Bad dream, baby, that's all.

I pull her close to me and wipe away her tears. I kiss her softly. 

A: I'm here, baby.

She dozes back off.  I do too.

I woke up the following day.
I kiss her softly on the back of her neck down her shoulder blades as she begins to wake.

A: Good morning, princess, everyone will be here at 3:00.  Want a quickie?

She nodded.  I kissed her then slid my hand down her abdomen.  I slipped my finger into her.

A: How?  You are ready for me.

I raised my body up and over her.  I put my arms on either side of her head and began to thrust hard and rough. I felt her walls begin to contract, and that put me over the edge.
I carried her to the shower.  After we both cleaned up and dried off.
