Jamie
Connor and I have been trying to find more movies to watch together since the time I got here. He has also been nothing but a great friend to me, teaching me, laughing with me, and always finding things to talk about. We tried to steer clear of family talk but I knew one of these days I'll have to tell him. Breakfast seemed a little tense this morning because of all the things going on in the pack. Apparently there was things happening soon. Connor sat at the table with all of the pack members and myself beside Olivia at the rectangular table. "Soon our pack will have more wolves. With the teens all becoming adults that means we will find more mates coming and going. Some of our wolf-women will be leaving and some will be coming to be with their wolf-men. With that being said, we will need more rooms and another pack house built to accommodate these new mates. I will be looking for my mate as well, but until then you all will be happy to know that I have a real friend to keep me sane until my mate shows herself to me. Jamie is to be held with the upmost respect and do not let me find you disrespecting her in any way possible." He announced with pride.
People smiled at me from around the room and I tried my hardest to smile back. Lola on the other hand was staring at me from across the room with anger written all over her face. As annoying as it is to watch Lola look at me like I was a snake in the grass it was worth it, having Connor in my corner was worth the stares from her. I don't know why he was so worth it but he is to me. Maybe it was because he was there for me when my family died. Or maybe it was because he decided to help me when I had no one. Or the fact that he is so honest with me about everything. As breakfast ended I decided it was time for me to go back to Connor's house and spend the day relaxing but I can't stand being alone sometimes. "Olivia!" I yelled before she could run off for the day doing god knows what. She came running to me with a big smile on her face. She stood in front of me bouncing on her heels waiting for me to speak. "How would you feel about a girls day inside?" I asked.
She looked to be in thought for a few seconds before pulling out her phone and sending a quick text to someone. "What do you have in mind?" She asked before looking around the pack grounds then back at me. "If you have something more important to do by all means go. I can totally have my own little relaxing day by myself." I told her with a smile. She giggled for a second before shaking her head no. "I was just looking to see if I could find Luke. I'm guessing that he's busy considering I can't find him anywhere. So, let's have that girl's day in. What are we gonna do?" She told me looping her arm in mine before we started our walk to Connor's house. "I was thinking face masks, getting our nails done, watching some cheesy chick flixs, and then a glass of wine or two." I said as we were walking through the clearing. "Well, how about we do our nails first so we don't have to hurry with our face masks but other than that, we are totally good for the whole day. Just please spare me the whole wolf conversation." She looked at me with question before her eyes glowed like christmas tree lights.
I tried to push her thoughts away with a little eye roll but that only seems to push her thoughts to the forefront of her mind. " You want to talk all about Alpha Connor don't you?" Her question became more of a statement than anything. "Girl, not everything I think or want to talk about is about Connor. And please stop calling him Alpha Connor around me. He's my friend and any time I hear that name it reminds me of everyone that only wants to be friends with him for money and power and many other things. It's wrong and childish of people to do, especially when he is so sweet and kind and only wants real friends around him." I told her and she seemed shocked by what I had just told her. "You mean to tell me that people are only nice to Connor to get things from him. Connor is a great man and Alpha but I never thought people would do some stupid shit like that to a great person like him." She seemed a lot madder than I thought she would be.
We got to my room faster than I thought and she helped me pick an outfit. "Grab what you want to wear. I know you've been trying to get your grubby little fingers on my clothes for at least two weeks." I laughed as her smile grew across her face before she ran into my closet digging around. "Bitch! Your clothes are so cute. Why have you been holding back on me!" She yelled before coming out in the cutest outfit I've ever seen on her. "You and I are going shopping soon so I'll help you find some good stuff. Now let's go get our nails done so we can come back here and have that girls day we really need." I said grabbing her hand and pulling her out of the house. Connor stood there watching as we finally made it outside. "Girls." He said nodding his head at us. "Perfect timing. Can we barrow your car?" I asked and he almost chocked laughing. "What for?" He asked looking between the two of us."We are going to go do our own thing, a girls day." I told him before he sighed pulled the key out of his pocket handing them to me. "Do not fuck my car up JJ. I'm trusting you with my baby." He said making me smile before hugging him quickly. Olivia and I ran to the car getting in and driving off.
