Chapter 29

Jamie

Connor, Kiana, and I talked for so long. I didn't realize how much time had went by sitting here talking to Connor's aunt that when we were going out the door to leave that the sun was up high in the sky. The heat was beating down but it was still slightly cold because of the crisp wind that blew on my skin. "Jamie, you are always welcome to come back here any time you'd like. And my dear nephew, please don't forget me. I'm getting old, I won't be here forever." She told him. He was quick to pull her into a bone crushing hug. He pulled away and I was pulled into a hug from Kiana.

Connor and I got into the car and pulled off going down the driveway, back to the road. We drove for a little while down the road until we pulled into a nice restaurant and went inside. The waitress took us to a booth in the back giving us a menu and left us to look over it. "What are you getting?" I asked looking over the menu at Connor. "A stake with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. I might get a beer." He said with a little smirk. I hadn't realized until now that I didn't really know much about Connor.

The waitress came back with her boobs pushed up higher in her bra and her skirt hiked up trying to show off her goods. She placed her hand on Connor's shoulder smiling down at him, showing off her pearly white teeth through her bright red lipstick. "What can I get you?" She purred, my blood started to boil seeing her flirt with him right in front of me. "Well my girlfriend would like the stake with mash potatoes and mac and cheese. I'll take the same." He said picking up her hand off his shoulder and lightly pushing it back to her own body. She huffed writing down the order. "And what would you like to drink?" She asked pronouncing the word you funny. "I'll take a Dr. Pepper please." I said pronouncing the word I'll like she did.

After the waitress walked away I made eye contact with Connor and couldn't help but burst out into a fit of laughter. "Her face." He spoke through his laughs. After a minute or two we calmed down and got to talking. "So how old are you?" I asked him. "Twenty three. How old are you?" He asked. "I just turned eighteen." I told him with a little smile. "When was your birthday?" He asked me. "Three days ago." I told him and he seemed to be a little irritated at my answer. "Why didn't you say something JJ?" So that's why he was irritated. "In all honesty, I just didn't want to celebrate. Doing that makes me think about how my parents won't be there. It just makes everything real and I don't think I'm ready for that just yet." I said before the waitress brought our food out.

We started eating our food and it was so amazing. I couldn't believe I had never had a stake that tasted this damn good before in my life. "Good?" He asked looking at me. "Sooo good." I said through a mouth full of food causing him to laugh. We talked and ate all of our food, enjoying our last time together before the mating ritual. "Want dessert?" He asked before I nodded with excitement. Connor signalled for the waitress and she came running over with a smile as her boobs bounced with every step. "Can we get the dessert menu?" I asked so she wouldn't have a reason to talk to Connor again. She nodded pulling a menu from her arms and handed it to me before walking away.

"What about a chocolate oreo parfait?" I asked and he was quick to nod. The waitress came back over taking our order before walking away once again. "Thank you for taking care of me. I could've died if it wasn't for you and the pack." I said a little embarrassed of my situation. He straightened up in his seat clearing his throat. "JJ, you were in an impossible situation, and you're only a teenager. I would have been a shitty person if I turned you away." He said with a little upset face. "You are always welcome in my pack. Don't ever think that you are not an important part here." He said. I was slowly coming to terms with the fact that another woman was going to take my place in Connor's life and it made me sad but I had to push through.

The dessert came fast and we scarfed it down in minutes before paying the bill and getting back to the car. We slid in and took off down the road. "So, how was our first date?" He asked me as we were nearing the pack grounds once again. I turned to look at him with a little smile on my face. "I didn't know this was a date. But now that I do, it has been the best date I've ever been on." I told him before we pulled through the gate. He dropped me off at his house, telling me that he had some business to tend to before he came home for the night.

Olivia came over as soon as I sent her a text telling her I was back on pack grounds. We sat around talking all about what happened with Connor and I today. She was so happy knowing that Connor actually had good intentions for me. We were sitting on the couch when he walked in the door and Olivia was quick to take off out of the house, leaving Connor and I to ourselves. He walked over and grabbed me up from the couch and attacked me with kisses. "I've waited all day to kiss those lips." He whispered in a deep husky voice making me tingle from the heat on his breath hitting the skin of my neck. "You have been teasing me all day long. Please, don't make me wait any longer for you." I all but begged him. He was quick to pick me up taking me into his room while kissing my lips hungry. Once we made it into the bedroom he ripped my clothes off my body. doing the same to his before grabbing a condom and putting it on. He threw me onto the bed and crawled between my legs devouring me.
