The teacher laid a large book in front of me turning it open to a chapter called Phasing and Knowing Your Wolf. "Please make sure you read this whole chapter and the next. If you need to take notes I can go get you a notebook and pens." She said looking at me expectantly. "That would be great, thank you." I told her and she took off to find the notebook and pens. Once she was back she sat it all down and left the room for me to study. I couldn't believe I was actually trying to learn these things, not because I needed to but because I wanted to, not for me but for Connor. These two chapters seemed to be endless and the notes were like a whole list of things only a crazy person would think to write.

*Wolves harbor in the guts of their 'host' and only appears when the 'host' allows them to
*The wolves in a pack all communicate in the minds of their 'hosts' when needed
*The Alpha always knows the true desires of pack members
*When wolves are under attack the Alpha is the first to ride out with his army no matter the war
*The Alpha is the leader of the pack and no one is to challenge him, if someone is to challenge him it is a wolf fight to the death
*A pack is always to have an Alpha, if not then all the wolves will become rouge and kill one another
*No pack member is to make judgement without the Alpha's backing, if the Alpha is nowhere to be found and in emergence the Beta is to make judgemental calls
*The phasing of the moon determains how powerful a wolf can be
*When a moon is at it's fullest all wolves are at their strongest
*When a new moon is born all wolves are at their weakest

I felt like I was drowning in the information I was reading. My mind was fogged with it all. Connor was right, I really couldn't help make decisions for the pack without knowing all these things. Once both chapter's were read I looked over all my notes and got the best grasp of the information. Standing up I grabbed my things and went to find the teacher. Walking into her classroom I found her talking to Delta Josh. "Jamie, do you need help with anything?" She asked walking away from Josh with a little nervousness in her steps. "No, I came to tell you that I was done reading the chapters you told me to. I left the book in the other room. Thank you for the information and I'll be heading back to the pack house." I smiled at her and she nodded before taking me into the next room with her.

"I need you to know something." She said with a little worry in her words. I nodded for her to continue on with her words. "I know you are friends with Alpha Connor and I need you to get a message to him without anyone else knowing." She whispered to me. "Okay and what is that?" I asked with a little ergency in my voice. She grabbed a piece of paper and a pen writing something down and handing it to me. "Don't read that paper and don't let anyone see you leaving with it. Hide it in your bra and keep it there until you get in the office alone with Alpha Connor. Don't let Delta Josh know I gave this to you and please don't be alone with anyone that isn't a female or the Alpha and Beta." She urged before sending me away to the pack house.

As soon as I got out of the school I made a rush to get back to Connor. Once I was at the road taking me to the pack house I heard someone calling my name. I turned to look to the right seeing Olivia running to me with a smile on her face. I stopped letting her catch up to me and once she reached me she looped her arm around mine. "You look like you've seen a ghost, what's wrong with you?" She asked looking at me with worry. "I need you to get me to the pack house as quick as you can. Please, don't stop until you get me to the pack house doors." I said and she nodded taking a turn and ducking into the woods.

We ran for what felt like years until she took a right and helping me cross a little creek. As soon as we made it across the creek we ran to the edge of the woods near the clearing. Looking around I seen a clear shot of the pack house. I looked around the clearing to see if I could spot anyone and then made a run for it with Olivia hot on my trail. As I made it to the door I almost kicked it in trying to get to Connor as fast as I could. Beta Josh stood there looking at me like I was insane then looking to Olivia as she picked the leafs out of her hair. He walked up to her and I with a little smile on his face. "I need you to take me to Connor now and hurry." I whispered with a little smile on my face to hide my worry. "Alpha Connor is asking for you. Let me take you to him Jamie." He said aloud for all to hear ,trying to make it look as normal as possible.

Luke lead Olivia and I up the stairs and into Connor's office. As soon as we were inside the room Luke slammed the door closed behind us and I made my way to sit in front of Connor's desk. Delta Josh sat beside me in the leather seats and I grew nervous just like the teacher had. I made a little face at Connor and jerked my eyes towards Josh then made my eyes grow larger looking at Connor. Connor cleared his throat and sat up a little higher in his seat understanding what I was trying to say. "Delta Josh, if you will please excuse us. Olivia and I need to speak with Alpha Connor about my living arrangements." I said with a little smile on my face. "Delta Josh if you would please, we will talk about this subject on a later date." Connor said with a smile before Josh nodded and walked out the door. "Beta Luke, please take your post outside and do not let anyone within wolf's earshot." Connor said and Luke did as he was told.
