Standing at the front of the great hall were the four heads of houses, and a small wispy looking wizard, assumedly the apparition teacher.

"Good morning" the instructor said in a small light voice that matched his appearance. "My name is Wilkie Twycross, and for the next twelve weeks I will be your apparition instructor."

"Borrrrrrring" (Y/n) yawned, resting his head on top of Hermione's. "When do we get to disappear and reappear, this is gonna help me get out of so many sticky situations"

"Malfoy!" McGonagall said raising her voice. "Pay attention, and you too Grace!"

Everyone turned around to see a furious looking Malfoy and a red faced Grace move away from each other quickly, with a scowling Crabbe in the middle.

"Now as you may now it is impossible to apparate or disapparate within Hogwarts. The headmaster has gratuitously removed the incantation purely within the great hall for this exercise." Twycross explained to them.

"I would to emphasize that apparition outside of the wall of this room is not possible and it would be unwise to attempt. Now then I would like you to space out from each other, with about 5 feet in front of you"

As people moved and positioned themselves Harry slipped out between (Y/n) and Hermione and quickly made his way towards Malfoy.

"Harry where are you going?" Hermione called after him only to be met with silence.

"He's going to ease drop on Malfoy isn't he?" (Y/n) muttered to Hermione.

"Quiet!" McGonagall shouted over the chatter of hall, which fell silent in seconds.

"Thank you" Twycross said to McGonagall before turning back to the hall and continuing to lecture them about apparition, something about three D's, disillusion, dachshunds, and daydreaming, or something like that.

"...Then turn on the spot, feeling your way into nothingness, moving with deliberation..." Twycross droned on, (Y/n) not paying attention.

"Now then... one.... Two.... THREE!" Twycross said as everyone in the hall attempted to apparate. (Y/n) sort of just spun in the spot, losing his balance, smacking the person next to him with his prosthetic arm, causing in the detach from the rest of his arm and fly across the room smacking Twycross in the face, causing him to topple over and fall over into his back.

"(Y/n)!" McGonagall shouted at him.

"I didn't do it" (Y/n) said instinctively, causing laughter to burst out in the hall.

"Not a problem Minerva, not a problem at all" Twycross said getting back up from the ground. "This things happen, better than splinching" he said, as (Y/n) walked back up to retrieve his arm.

"Now then let's try this again, on three once more.... One... two.... Three!"

Once more there was a commotion as people tried to apparate once more. This time however, as (Y/n) spun in the spot he felt space almost warp and crush in on him for a second before he opened his eyes and found himself standing feet from Hermione.

"(Y/n)!" She cried startled, opening her own eyes, and nearly falling over backwards.

(Y/n) quickly stuck out his arm and caught her before she hit the ground.

He looked around and found that most of the hall was staring at him.

"Very good!" Twycross cried to him from the front of the room. "Although you could've used more determination to set your mind in your destination, although your deliberation was spot on!"

"The hell is he talking about?" (Y/n) to Hermione, having not paid attention to anything he had said.

"Alright then alright let's give it one more try, everyone reset your hoops and back to your original positions. Everyone ready? One.. two...three!" He called out once more.

And once again everyone attempted to apparate, (Y/n) missing his hoop, and heading up in Hermione's hoop. However this time there was a squelching poo and horrific screech of pain, as everyone looked around to see Susan bones wobbling in her hoop with one of her legs still standing back where she started.

All four of the heads moved quickly, making their ways to her position and with a great bang and a puff of smoke Susan was reunited with her leg, but still looking horrified.

Twycross then when on explaining splinching and why it happens as though some didn't just get separated from their leg.

"I think we will leave it there for today" Twycross said fastening his cloak around his neck. "I will see you next week, and don't forget the three D's." And with a flourish of his cloak he was out the door.

"How'd it go Harry?" Ron asked Ashe rushed up to him.  "I think I felt something tingle!"

"Ah well you see Ron when boys get to a certain age they sometimes start to feel a tingle down there, and they get hair where there never used to be" (Y/n) told him sarcastically.

After they got back to the common room Harry filled them in on his new plan to catch Malfoy by following him on the marauders map.

"That way I'll always know where he is!" Harry explained to them excitedly.

"Oh my god" (Y/n) said shocked. "You've gone mental mate, this is full blown stalking! What next are you going use your invisibility cloak and watch him while he sleep!!"

This foolproof plan however did not work, as over the coming weeks Harry could not find him on the map.

"Do you think he's leaving the school mate?" (Y/n) asked him one night, as Harry had the map inches from his face as he scoured the hallways looking for him.

"How could he be!" Harry said angrily throwing the map down.

"The shrieking shack maybe?" (Y/n) suggested.

"He hasn't been anywhere near there!" Harry told him annoyed, picking the map back up once more, as if Malfoy would just suddenly appear there.

"Well he must be somewhere." (Y/n) said innocently.

"Yeah no shit (Y/n)!" Harry spat back at him. "All I've found us Crabbe and Goyle spending hours just standing in some remote hallway!"

"Maybe they're shared brain cell final gave up?" (Y/n) suggested.

Harry threw the map back down once more and banged his head against the table.

"Hey did you try fire mate?" (Y/n) suggested. "I'm sure if Malfoy was on fire he would talk"
