Harry spent the rest of the week thinking about how he could get the memory out of Slughorn, and as usual he spent most of that time pouring over the prince's book.

"Look mate you aren't going to find anything in there" (Y/n) told him one evening.

"He's right Harry" Hermione piped up looking up from her book.

"Don't start you two" Harry said rolling his eyes. "If it wasn't for the prince Ron wouldn't be here!"

"He would if you actually paid attention in class for once in your life" (Y/n) said annoyed, rummaging around in his arm.

Harry wasn't paying attention though, as he seemed to engrossed in the book, folding down the corner of a page before looking up again.

"How apparition going anyway?" Harry said changing the topic. "The tests coming up soon isn't it?"

"The twenty first of April" Ron said gloomily staring out the window.

"It'll be alright mate I'm sure you'll get it by then" (Y/n) said patting him on the back.

"Yeah easy for you to say, you can pop across the room at will" Ron said sounding depressed.

Ron hadn't been able to apparate once yet, not for a lack of trying. Hermione had managed it a few times, (Y/n) swore the only reason she had figured it out was to scare him during lessons, and even Harry hd managed it once.

"Look Harry I've told you the stupid prince isn't going to be able to help you with this" Hermione said loudly, bring the topic back around. "They only way you could get him to do what you want is the imperious curse-"

"Yes I know!" Harry said, angrily cutting her off.

"You know fire works wonders, you know a little burn here, a burnt mustache their" (Y/n) said throwing in his two cents.

"Look I'm not setting him on fire (Y/n)! Unlike you I'm not an arsonist... plus I'm sane!" Harry threw back at (Y/n), lashing out at him. "And I'm looking for something different Hermione maybe a spell or a potion-"

"Dumbledore said this was something only you can do, that means it's not going to be some spell or potion, you need to convince him or persuade him" Hermione explained to him.

"And I am sane! I only hear ten voice in my head!" (Y/n) told Harry angrily. "And only nine of them tell me to start fires!"

"How do you spell belligerent?" Ron suddenly cut in, shaking his quill violently. "It can't be B U M can it?"

"Nah mate dead wrong, it's D U M B A R S E" (Y/n) told him in a serious tone.

Hermione rolled her eyes. "No it's not Ron, and  augury doesn't begin with O R G" she pulled his essay over towards her, scanning over it. "What quill are you using Ron?"

"It's one of Fred and George's spell-check ones, but the charm must be wearing off" Ron said annoyed.

"That or you just never learnt to read mate." (Y/n) said with a snicker. "Not that I'm surprised"

"I think the spells wearing off Ron" Hermione said pointing at the top of his paper. "Because we're writing about dementors not Dug-bogs, and I don't remember you changing your name to Roonil Wazlib either"

"Oh no!" Ron said in horror, throwing his quill down. "Don't tell me I have to write this whole thing out again!"

"Oh give it here Roonil" (Y/n) said pulling the essay towards him, magically correcting words here and there.

It took a while for (Y/n) to correct all of Roonil's mistakes, but with the help of Hermione it didn't take too long.

By the time they had finished, Harry was closing his own book getting up to his feet, when suddenly.
