❀Maeve POV❀
❀. I groan and roll out of bed after snoozing my alarm clock more than I can count.
I barely got any sleep last night, thanks to River and her stupid guitar.
I decide on wearing a comfy grandpa sweater and black jeans along with my converse.

As I'm leaving my bedroom I look over to Rivers door which is shut and no sounds are heard.
I scoff, assuming she's still asleep after all the racket she made last night.
I walk down the stairs and enter the kitchen for breakfast.
"Good morning!" Sage smiles brightly greeting me with a hug.
I hug her back as well. "Good morning sage, you look very pretty today."
She thanks me and hands me a plate of food.
I make my way to the table and run into River.
"Excuse you." I sass at her causing her to roll her eyes, blowing out a puff of cigarette smoke.
She looked gorgeous considering the fact that I doubt she got any sleep.
She was wearing a tight black turtle neck which highlighted her hourglass like curves. Paired with a few small necklaces and rings.
Her jeans were very fitting and make her long legs look good.
"Hate to break it to you sweets, but you're the one who bumped into me."
I roll my eyes at her. "You're such a prick."
"Hm, well you seem to like this prick since you're still talking to me. Then again, you talk to anyone who will give you any sort of attention."
I clench my fist around my plate of food and push past her, making sure I purposely bump her.
She knows how to push all my buttons.

After breakfast I make my way to the school library. It's so pretty, the smell of books and old shelves lingers around. I smile to myself and go to my favorite book genre section.
I grab a book that looks interesting and sit down in a window seat.
Outside, it has began to rain. The small droplets collecting on the windows until they become too heavy and drizzle down.
I smile to myself. I love the rain more than anything. It's so pretty.
I let out a yawn and begin reading my book.

"Maeve."
"Maeveeee!"
"Damn it Maeve wake up!"
I flinch and rub my eyes letting out a groan. Once I've come to my senses I see River standing in front of me with her arms crossed in an aggravated manner.
"What do you want?" I groan at her causing her to roll her eyes.
"Its 9:00pm silly girl. The library is trying to close."
Oh.
My cheeks flush pink in embarrassment as I clumsily gather my stuff.
River stifles a laugh causing me to shoot her a glare.
We exit the library together and I'm still trying to shake off the embarrassment I felt.
"You should get more sleep at night." River comments with a smirk.
