"Call me if you need anything" I say to her as she laid in her bed looking straight at me. She grinned softly and nodded. "You sure you feel okay? yesterday was really bad"

"I'm sure, i'm just resting it out today and tomorrow I'll go to work." I feel like I should stay. I don't think she's recovered yet, she probably noticed how I hesitated. "Nico, go work, I know you have a lot of things to do" she wasn't wrong. I walked over to her and kissed lips softly. I saw the shade of pink spread across her face. She's so cute.

"I'll be back around 8-9" she held my hand looking up at me. Those eyes. Oh god those eyes. I wanted to just keep staring into her beautifully sweet soul.

"I'll miss you" I felt my heart get warm, i want her to say that again. I want her to make me stay here. "I'll keep you updated"

"I'll—- miss you too" she smiled softly. "I really have to go, I don't want to be late" Don't let me leave Kendall.

"Okay, have a good day!" She tried saying with energy. I kissed her head and began walking away.

"Kendall, please-" she cut me off and sat up.

"I'll call you, I promise I'll call you." I gave her a small grin hoping that she gets better. I left her room, quickly walking out of her house I already had 20 emails.

Luckily while I was driving I did not have any traffic so I was there extra early around 6:30 am. It was nice when no one was at the office. It's quiet.

I was looking over some documents when Mark came into my office. I can't even get an hour without having Mark ruining my morning "You're here early" I was too busy to look up.

"Yes, I want to go home early today" I closed the files putting it in my file drawer. He nodded and walked over to my desk. I looked at his stupid face, it looked so punchable.

"Listen Nicolas, I want to tell you that I am sorry for doing things without your permission," I wasn't convinced, I didn't care about The words that came out of his mouth. "I wanted to ask if I can get the next 3 days off, my wife and I want to go on vacation to Hawaii, it's actually our anniversary" he grinned wanting me to have mercy on him. Fucking idiot. I stayed quiet looking into his terrified douche eyes. I saw the way he fixed his tie because he was scared. He wasn't much older then me just 2 or 3 years.

I sighed to myself really not giving two shits "not happening" I leaned back into my chair staring at him. The way his eye brows furrowed in confusion, the way he made his hands into fist, it was hilarious.

"What?" He stepped forward.

"I said no"

"Listen here pal! I'm sick of this BS! I do everything you say and you bitch about it all the time. I'm just trying to help and I've been in this company for 5 years I know how things are run! You shouldn't even be in office your changing everything! Also what was yesterday about?! You leave meetings, important meetings! You say no to very important business men that have good ideas! You are such a closed minded asshole!" I stood up gripping the edge of my desk, I was now looking at him in the eyes, I'm sick of his bullshit.

"Listen-" I was trying to keep calm, I shouldn't lash out. I shouldn't yell.

"No you listen! I practically do everything! I deserve this!"

"FUCKING LISTEN!" I let out a breath knowing that I will punch the guy if he keeps talking. I sat down opening the drawer to take out some documents. Let me clarify that some unemployment documents. "You want to go on the trip?" I signed my name on the paper.
