IRL - The Bird at the Award Ceremony

(based on the golden globes in 2018 when sebastian presented one of the awards with allison janney, also i didn't watch the award in 2018 so i'm going from yt videos and the wiki page so sorry if i get anything wrong)

it was the year of late 2018 and it was also the night of the golden globes, sebastian was all dressed up ready to present the globes as last year in 2017 him with his group won a award for the movie he was in called 'i,tonya', emily was there too and she was there to keep sebastian company and tom didn't mind she was with sebastian for the late afternoon/night
"you ready to go now?" emily asks sebastian as he walks into his living room and emily was sitting on the sofa
"yeah, you ready?" sebastian says then asks and emily flies over to him and nods happily
"reah! let go!...wait, how get dere?" emily says ready to go but reasoning she didn't know how they were getting there
"oh, i forgot to tell you didn't i? we are going by a limo" sebastian says and emily understand by nodding
"oh! a wemo!" emily says understanding and sebastian smirks by her way of saying 'limo'
sebastian and emily then go outside and the limo was waiting outside the apartment door, the pair get in and the limo takes them the belerley hilton where the golden globes are being hosted, when they get there, they get out and they sees they go onto the red carpet where other actors, actress, musicians and performers, sebastian had to hold emily close when they go onto the carpet as she was starting to get agoraphobia and she was looking around at the actors to see if she could spot anyone she knew
"loads of peeps" emily says as she looks around
"well, it is a award ceremony, there are going to be loads of people" sebastian says and emily looks up at him
"i know...but loads of peeps" emily says still looking up at sebastian then looks down again "i vonder vhat dad would do if he was 'ere?" she asks mostly herself but sebastian heard her
"...he would probably be a social butterfly and get his picture taken by the paparazzi" sebastian replies after thinking and emily looks up at him
"hmm...reah, he like be social butterfly" emily says after thinking about it but didn't question the face sebastian knew this about tom
they keep walking around and while walking around, emily spots ewan mcgregor, robert patterson, emma watson, tom hanks, hugh jackman, dwayne johnson, zac efron, emma stone, hugh grant, chris hemsworth, cathrine zeta-jones, j.k.simmons, margot robbie and some others, she also recognised sharon stone and she wags her tail violently while being angry and angry sneezing as she remembers the time with her and sebastian on the james corden show, there was also people emily had no idea who they were and she didn't really care who they were, she did ask sebastian if he knew who they were and he kinda knew some of them but not all of them, emily also notice that sebastian was one of 3 marvel cast there, one being chris hemsworth (thor) and the other being aaron taylor-johnson (quicksilver) which was odd but she shrugs it off.
it was soon time to go inside and all the celebrities we assigned seats, emily looks for sebastian's and she finds his next to margot robbie
"'ere's your chair, seddy!" emily says pointing to sebastian's chair as he walks over
"thank you, emily" sebastian replies happily and he sits down in the chair after he takes off the paper with his name and face on it
emily sits on his lap when he gets comfortable and he he starts scratching her head making her purr happily, it wasn't long till the whole room was full of celebrities and guests and then the show starts, emily did notice as the host which was seth meters was talking that there was a cameraman coming around to the tables and she watches as the camera points to people she knew to ones she didn't, a cameraman then went to her and as she appears on the screen the whole room went 'aww!' making emily look around then she giggles, sebastian rubs her head and she looks up at him who was smiling at her, the cameraman when went another person on her and sebastian's table and the awards continued as the cameraman goes to another table.
the awards starts with dwayne johnson and gal gadot to which emily knew dwayne knew from the mummy movie, then it was the pair of viola davis and helen mirren to which emily didn't know any, then it was zac efron which emily know from high school musical, then it was jennifer aniston and carol burnett and emily knew jennifer from friends, then it was sarah paulson which emily didn't know, then it was garrett hedlund and kerry washington which emily didn't know, then roseanne barr and john goodmen and emily knew john from a movie she couldn't remember, then seth rogen and emily didn't know him, then it was christina hendricks and neil patrick harris and emily heard neil's name somewhere before.
then it was mariah carey and common and emily knew mariah from the christmas song but she though the peep who chose common must of wanted to be common, then it was kelly clarkson and keith urban and emily heard kelly's name somewhere before, then it was octavia spencer and emily didn't know who she was, then it was emma stone and shirley maclaine and emily knew emma from the amazing spider man 1 and 2, then it was sharon stone and j.k.simmons and when emily saw sharon, she grabs sebastian's left arm by his sleeve and pulls it close to her, sebastian was a little confused on why she did this but then he remembers and he smirks a little by the fact emily never forgot.
it was then his turn on the stage to talk about i,tonya and someone came to take him and emily up behind stage, he met up with allison janney and they get ready to go on the stage, sebastian loops his arm with allison's and he had emily in his other arm as they get ready to walk on stage
"now introducing, sebastian stan and allison janney!" the announcer says and the pair with emily
when they get to the podium and sebastian unloops his arm from allison and puts it under emily's feet to hold her feet up, emily was looking at the crowd with a dopey look and her tongue sticking out and she was tilting her head confused as everyone start laughing, she then looks up ar sebastian who was looking left and she looks at allison, she was still confused till she saw it with a double take, there was a fake bird on her left shoulder and...emily wanted to poke it as her eyes get bigger, she then starts reaching for it as allison was talking and sebastian notices her, he then pulls emily's paw back and emily whines quietly
"birb!" emily says quietly as she looks at the bird
she then reaches again and she spawls herself so she could reach it, this made everyone laugh at emily as she was upside down trying to reach the bird and sebastian just chuckles a little before pulling her back and hugging her
"sorry, she want the bird" sebastian says to the mic and he looks at the bird on allison's shoulder while everyone chuckles
"i want the birb!" emily says quietly in sebastian's chest but sebastian heard her as he looks at her
"you can't, it's an accessory" sebastian whispers to her and she gains a sad face with drooped ears as she looks at him
"but...birb!" emily whispers and points to the bird
"i know, i know" sebastian says and he pets emily on the back of her head
allison then turns to sebastian and emily sees her opportunity to reach out as the bird was in reaching distance and she pokes the bird
"poke! poke, poke, poke" emily says as she pokes the bird and everyone laughs happily as she pokes it
sebastian then pulls her away and he does his part of the talk, when they were done, everyone claps louder then usual and the pair walk off the stage to their chairs
the awards continue with amy poehler and andy samberg and sebastian starts petting emily as he sits down and she goes on his lap
"i got poke birb" emily says happily with a little tail wag
"you sure did" sebastian replies as he scratches emily on the head and around her neck
after amy and andy who emily didn't know, it was katie hudson and aaron taylor-johnson and emily knew aaron as quicksilver, then it was catherine zeta-jones and kirk douglas and emily knew catherine as a youtuber she watches has a crush in her, then it was sarah jessica parker and emily heard her name somewhere before, then it was hugh grant and emily knew him as one of the famous british actor, then at that point emily drifted to sleep as she became super exhausted after having 2 big meals and poking a fake bird so she lies on sebastian and he mindlessly rubs her head and chest as he cradles her in his left arm, the people that emily missed that she knew was emilia clark from game of thrones, natalie portman from thor and thor 2, emma watson from harry potter and robert pattinson from harry potter and sadly twilight, chris (uncle thor) hemsworth, michael keaton from batman and the valture from spider-man homecoming and lastly angelina jolie as everyone knows her, there was also hugh jackman but he didn't go up on stage and he was shown on screen instead.
when the ceremony was over, all the celebrities went to the after party but sebastian decided to go home as he was tired, he had a sleeping emily in his arms and he was a introvert so party wasn't his thing, as he was going a lot of people stopped him to tell him how cute emily was and how adorable she is when she asleep, how much of a dad he was up to her and how cute it was that she trusts him a lot, sebastian smiles, says 'i'll tell her you said that when she wakes up' and leaves, when he finally got home, he had a little energy to get ready for bed and then he collapses onto his bed, he fell asleep on his back and emily was on his chest with her head under his chin.
