IRL - The Haunted Mascot

(Based on the loki MCM comic con interview and the loki television society interview which i put together as one interview, this is also a continuation of 'the creepy doll' fanfic so read that one before this one, this is part 2 of 3 of the objaitis disease trilogy)

today on a sunny uk day and it had been a week since the scary doll incident, emily and tom were going out to a convention, it was with emily, tom, the sophia lady who played sylvie and the jonathan guy who played kang the conqueror, sadly sebastian wouldn't be going but he said he'll be fine at home, while tom was getting ready, emily had just received a text from lauren
'i have looked into this disease you manticores last week and...i think i found something' lauren's text says and emily was curious
'what you got?' emily texts a reply and waits a minutes till lauren's next text
'the disease is called objaitis disease, it's a super rare disease to where there thought they was no way to cure it, the disease will effect any age human and when it does, it will take a week till the human will possess the nearest object, it can be a bed, a glass, a toy and a electronic just to name a few but...if the human possess something human like for example a doll, a mannequin, a mascot outfit, another human, a animatronic or robot or a mirror, it will become something out of a horror movie like what you saw with that doll a week ago' lauren explains in the text and emily makes a worried face
'so does that mean me and seddy accidently found the cure to this disease last week?' emily asks in her text and waits for lauren to reply
'strangely, yes, it seems having a sing battle with the diseased object is one of 3 ways to destroy the disease' lauren says and emily got curious
'what's the other options?' emily asks and waits for a reply
'the second option was...to destroy the diseased object so that means killing the human too' lauren replies and emily looked worried 'but the third option is a lot more safe, there is this flower that is located in the center of the earth called the melody flower, you can made a tonic with it then give it to the person with objaitis disease and it curse them instantly' she adds in another text and emily sighs in relief
'wow...you learn something new everyday, has there been any cases of the disease lately?' emily says then asks then waits for a reply
'some here and there but it seems to be not that bad, like about 2-4 people seem to get it a year so it's quite tame, it only seems to effect people who smoke and drink alcohol, have a life threatening illness or have a pure evil heart' lauren says and emily gets confused
'what? i understand the drinking and smoking one and the illness one but our evil heart?' emily says to lauren and waits for a reply
'yeah, evil hearts belong to like a villian or a criminal so when they have a pure evil heart like example mr.refly, they's a 50/50 chance he'll get the disease' lauren explains and emily understands
'that'll be the day, anyway, before i go, does this disease effect us in the getting it and being touched by it way?' emily says and waits for a reply
'thankfully no to both, it just effects pure humans and not human hybrids like us' lauren replies and emily sighs in relief
'oh, thanks lauren, talk soon' emily says happily and puts the phone down
"emily?, are you ready?" tom says as he opens the door to check on her
"reah! i was just talkin' to me friend" emily replies and she follows tom out of her room
they go down to the living room and see sebastian chilling on the sofa on his phone
"we're going now, we'll probably see you later" tom says to sebastian and sebastian smiles at him with a little blush
"see you later, seddy!" emily says happily and she gives sebastian a nose to nose boop "mmmwah!" emily says happily while giving the nose to nose boop like it was a kiss
sebastian chuckles and he gives emily a kiss on the forehead after rubbing her face, he then gets up holding emily and gives tom a kiss on the lips
"see ya later" sebastian says softly after he kisses tom and he kisses tom on the cheek making tom chuckle happily before he sits down again with emily jumping out of his arms before he did
emily waves and then teleports herself and tom to the MCM convention, when they appear, they were escorted inside and go to the booth that was set up for them, of course when they to behind the curtain, emily can see they was alot of fan girls waiting for tom
"dad, i think da ladies like you too much, you have too many fan girls"emily says to tom and he smiles at emily
"yeah, i know" tom says and chuckles a little "i think it's because i the kind of guy that a lot of ladies want in their life" he adds and emily giggles
"dat's true but they can't have you cuz you belong to to daddy and me!" emily says and then she realises what she said "seddy! i mean seddy...lol" she says a little embarrassed then she giggles
tom pets her on the head making her purr happily then he goes out of the curtain with emily hearing a lot of girls screams, emily then went out after and she got some quieter screams as fans know that loud screaming scare her, tom and emily then sigh their autographs on things fans have like pictures, funko pops, signature books, plushies of either loki or/and emily and other stuff, as emily was watching one of the girl fans walk away, she sees in the distance and she couldn't make it out, she keeps looking till she realises what it was, it was one of those mascots which looked like a otter but it had a big head, emily freaks out getting poofy especially by the fact the otter mascot was looking over at emily with its empty soulless eyes
"a!" emily says frightened and she hides under the table
"emily? what's wrong?" tom says seeing emily hide under the table and he looks to see emily covering her eyes with her paws shaking
"monster! over there!"emily says freaked out thrn tom looks over
he sees the otter mascot too and he smiles
"it's just a-oh! right, i forgot" tom says then he remembers emily is frightened of mascots especially animal ones "don't worry, it's not coming over here" he says comforting emily and she was still shaking like a game controller on rumble
emily wouldn't budge but move closer to tom's leg like she did with sebastian in the interview with the doll, tom didn't mind and carried on sighing peoples things, emily kept shaking as she can see the feet of the mascot from under the table dispite it being far away, then emily heard a noise behind her so she quickly turns to the noise, she then turned back and the mascot was gone, emily panics as she couldn't see it anymore and she goes back on the table, she looks around and when she couldn't see it, she sighs i'm relief
"gone!" emily says in a little worried to tom and points to where the mascot was
"oh good, it's gone" tom says happy that it's gone "now you can help sigh these, please" he addsperri g emily on the head and emily looks around again before nodding
she continues to help tom sigh peoples things then about half an hour later when a man comes to take tom and emily to the stage for the panel, tom and emily were taken backstage where sophia and johnathan were waiting, tom says hi to the pair and emily flys away a little as her people anxiety kicks in, she then recognises the jonathan guy and starts snarking at him with angry sneezes, tom calms her down by holding her and she kinda does, then it was time for the panel and tom goes up first with all the ladies screaming, then emily and everyone was happy to see her, then it was sophia and people cheered for her and lastly it was the jonathon guy and he got some meh cheers
"welcome to the panel everyone!" the lady says and tom picks up his microphone with his left hand
"it good to be here" tom says happily and it makes the fans cheer
"reah, good, good!" emily says happily and she giggles
the lady then asked tom about his experience on loki and having his own loki tv series with emily, tom replies about how much how much fun he had and as he was talking, emily spots this black thing pop up slowly behind tom, she watches it go up then back down again, tom had to stop as everyone was laughing and watching emily watch the black thing and when it was gone emily didn't move for a second before turning around
"vhat?!" emily says super confused and everyone laughs "vhat dat?" she asks tom while pointing to where the black thing was
"i don't know, what was it?" tom replies and looks to where emily was pointing
"it was a strange black ting, it slowly popped up den slowly vent down again, weird" emily says then explains and tom smiles but was a little confused
the lady carries on with the interview asking tom, emily, sophia and jonathan about their time on the loki set, they all said that they had fun and can't wait to go back for season 2 which none of them 'except tom' had no idea what was going to happen
"so now that marvel has introduced time travel, i want to know what is your favourite time travel movie or tv show?" the lady asks and the trio and emily think
"umm...i have to go with...back to the future!" jonathan says and sophia nods
"yeah, i have to go with back to the future too" sophia says and tom thinks
"i'll say...back to the future too" tom says and he looks at emily "emily?" he asks and she huffs and looks away
"*gasp* rood, how dares you!" emily says and she huffs again "you have all forgotten the best time travel tv show of all time!" she says looking offended
"and what's that?" the lady asks and emily huffs again
"the tv show dat i was in from christmas 2005 to christmas 2017! rood!" emily says looking away and huffs again
"is it doctor who?" tom asks and everyone cheers
"reah! how could you all forgot doctor who! i was in it, with me friend, friend!" emily says still sounded offended "and if i remember correctly, seddy was also in a time travel movie too" she adds and looks over at tom
"he was?" tom says a little confused but he just wanted to see what emily said
"reah, duh! he was in hot tub time machine as dat guy who punched another guy in da face...dat all i remember his role doin' in da movie" emily says then explains and everyone cheers when emily mentioned the movie "it was also said by war machine in endgame which probably means dere's a seddy existin' in the MCU...*gasp* does dat mean dat a me and dad also exists in da MCU as me and dad?" she says then realising something and she gasps
"why do you think that? maybe sebastian might be on his own" sophia says and emily gasps
"rood! seddy and dad are always together and it will br a crime if dey weren't, also i tink the MCU version of me will be hooman so dere wouldn't be any confusion of 2 cat mes" emily explains and the audience, tom and the other 2 agreed "anyvay, vent off topic, i choose doctor who cuz i'm in it and hot tub time machine cuz seddy is in it" she says then puts her microphone down
"actually, i've changed my mind, i choose doctor who because emily was in it and i think she was the best character in my opinion and i also choose hot tub time machine as my darling husband sebastian is in it, he was my favourite part" tom says and everyone went 'aww!' after
emily smiles as she was still facing away from the trio with her paws crossed like she had crossed her arms, she opens her right eye and was about to turn about when she sees something, it was that otter mascot again and she poofs up in fright, it was standing in the corner by the stage and it was starting to look creepy as it was morphing into something else
"hello little kitty, i'm back again, did you miss me?" the otter mascot says gaining really sharp teeth, sharp claws, eyes turning black with blood leaking from them and it had a very deep, scary voice like before but this time it also had a bit of a glitch in its voice
"i'm b-back and this t-time, i won't let y-you defeat m-me, you don't h-have your d-daddy here to s-save you and i'm u-using your fear a-ageists you, now try and stop me now, kitty, tRY AND STOP!, TRY AND STOP!, TRY AND STOP!, TRY AND STOP!, TRY AND STOP!, TRY AND STOP ME!!" the otter mascot says getting bigger and scarier while repeating what it was saying
emily freaks out as she was shaking, crouches down with her ears pinned back and shaking like a frightened dog but she had her pink microphone in her right hand that she made appear with her magic while she was scared
"a!, a!, a!, a!, a!, a!, a!" emily says in fear loudly and this makes tom look over at her as he knows those noises mean she's terrified
"emily? what's wrong?" tom says concerned then notices the otter mascot in the corner of the room standing there "the otter mascot" tom says suprised it was there
"...what otter mascot?" sophia says looking in the same direction but not seeing anything
"yeah dude, there's no 'otter mascot' there" jonathan says also not seeing anything
suddenly the lights go out and emily jumps to tom as she was scared of the dark, the lights turn back on and everyone was gone and instead was the otter mascot looking like what emily saw before the lights went out making her scared again
"come on little kitty, let's sing" the otter mascot says as it makes a microphone appear and emily slowly goes opposite the otter mascot looking frightened as she was crouched down with ears pinned back and very poofy
the song starts playing (which sounds like the song diagraphephobia from the vs eteled mod mixed with the plaything song also from the vs eteled mod) and both emily and the otter mascot thing, emily seas really scared thoughout the song so she sounded scared in her voice but she managed to beat the otter mascot thing in 4 minutes, the otter thing was angry when emily beat him
"YOU HAVE HAVE BEAT ME NOW BUT YOU WON'T IN THIS ROUND!" the otter mascot says in his deal scary voice and emily sits up a little still looking scared and poofy
the next song plays (which sounds like body inversion song from the fnf starecrow mod mixed with madness song also from the fnf starecrow mod) and it was chaotic but emily managed to get though the song in 5 minutes and win it still sounded really scared
"*growls* YOU ARE STARTING TO GET REALLY IRRATATING YOU LITTLE PEST!" the otter mascot says super annoyed and then grins evily "BUT I CAN FIX THAT!" it says then it shoots some strings out of its hands
emily tries to run but the strings attached to her and she managed to threw the pink microphone before she was caught, her head, arms, wings and legs and then a black paint like substance went over her eyes making her go limb
"EMILY!" tom says as he goes over to emily but then catches the microphone
"OH? ARE YOU HERE TO TRY OUT MY NEW PUPPET? THEN GO RIGHT AHEAD!" the otter mascot says and laughs evily
tom looks at the microphone emily had and he remembers at home a week ago, emily and sebastian had a sing off and he liked it, he also remembers the video and sebastian having the sing off with the doll human thing, he gribs the microphone and he stands opposite the puppet controlled emily
"ok, i'm ready" tom says calmly and he holds the microphone up to his mouth
the song plays (which sounds like hit-n-strike from the fnf boy meets girl mod mixed with acrimony song also from the fnf boy meets girl mod) and seeing emily being controlled like a puppet broke tom's heart as he sang which sounded scared but brave underneath, halfway though the song which was 4 minute, emily came out of the puppet state and she sounded scared (for this, play the drowning part of the fnf terrible fate mod as it will sound great)
"🎵where am i? i can't see, what's going on? i don't know🎵" emily sang looking around lost and tom looked surprised
"🎵emily? i am here! just listen, to my voice🎵" tom sang back and emily looks over at him
"🎵dad! you'll have to help me! i can't break free-ee!🎵" emily sang in distress with tears leaking from where her eyes are suppose to be and tom looked sad and heartbroken
🎵emily, i will help you break free-ee!🎵" tom sang back wanting to help emily so badly
"🎵it so dark-rk, very dark-rk, there are monsters, over there-ere🎵" emily sang and points to in front of her
"🎵emily, you'll have, to tell me, how to, break you, free-ee-ee🎵" tom sang back abs he can still emily tears coming down her face
"🎵you'll have to de-feat me...it's the only way🎵" emily sang and tom looked heartbroken again
🎵i will try my best to help...break you free-ee🎵" tom sang back and then emily went back to her puppet form
the song changed (which sounds like scuffle song from fnf ghost twins mod mixed with serious song from the fnf vs stickman mod) and it sounded really good, soon the song was over in 4 minutes and emily manages to break out of her puppet state as the strings and the paint like substance vanished, emily falls over and the otter mascot thing was mad
"UGH! THOS LOSING STREAK IS GETTING REALLY BAD, BUT I WON'T LOSE ESPECIALLY TO A HUMAN!" the otter mascot thing says and he throws his microphone away while tom looked really serious and angry
the next song plays (which sounds like triggered song from the fnf flippy flipped out mod mixed with power though song from the fnf vs big brother mod) and tom put his heart into the song for emily's sake, thought the song emily had woken up and crawled over to tom and hide behind him, the song lasted 6 minutes and when it was down with tom winning again, the otter mascot thing gets really mad
"UGHAHH!" the otter mascot thing says in anger "YOU ARE AS GOOD AS KITTY'S DADDY BUT I WON'T-I WON'T-I...WON'T..." it says and starting to get weak as it goes down in size
"ok, it's me turn!" emily says after recovering and takes the microphone from tom who was surprised when she took the microphone from him "you have messed around long enough, you took over me body forcefully which i hated by the way and i'm getting tired of seein' you so GO AWAY!" she adds gettin angry with a snarl on her face
the next song plays (which sounds like aurora song from the fnf friday night incident mixed with reruns song from the fnf vs cartoon cat) and it sounded good but then halfway though the song which was 5 minutes into the song, emily took over as the otter mascot was too weak to keep charge and the song changed (which sounds like cassetine from the fnf qt mod mixed with memory song from the fnf vs pou mod) emily sang her heart out and the otter mascot thing shadow melted and shrunk till it was the otter mascot again, when the song ended which was in 10 minutes total, the otter mascot thing was physically exhausted and annoyed on losing again
"you...you...how can you...defeat me? i have...everyone in this room...in this body and you still...managed to deafeat me...how?" the otter mascot thing asks and emily gives it a poker face
"well...i'm the goddess of electricity, a professian magic user, a really good flyer, a amazing singing voice and...i had my dad to pick up when i was controlled so what you should learn is...NEVER. MESS. WITH. ME!...got it?" emily says seriously and as she gets close to the otter mascot thing, she was mad
"..." the otter mascot huffs and then it goes away as it disappears
then the lights turn off making emily jump into tom's arms and then when the lights come on again, everyone was back and looked liked nothing happened, tom and emily look around then they sit down in their chairs again as the audience looked confused too, emily then makes her phone appear and check her album to see if she had recoded the event which it did, the panel went on like nothing happened and after the interview, it was picture time with the fans, that took an hour and a half then it was break time, tom and emily were sitting in a private cafeteria with the other actors/actresses at their own tables and tom was sitting on the right side while emily sat opposite him as they sat by a window
"so, was that what happened a week ago when you and sebastian were attacked by that doll?" tom asks emily and she nods in reply
"reah, dat otter mascot ting was da doll monster but it had taken a different form to get revenge on me from before" emily says then explains and tom looked curious
"that's why it said i was good as sebastian but said it as 'kitty's daddy'...*blush*" tom says to himself then blushes making emily notice
"*giggles* you vere very good when i watched you go up ageists da otter mascot ting" emily says happily with a little wagging tail "also thanks for saving me, i didn't like dat form i was in, i could see all my worst fears sitting in da distance just standing dere, it was scary" she adds looking a little scared and worried
"you know i'll do anything to save and help you, you are my daughter and i will be so upset if anything bad happened to you...i was so heartbroken when i saw you crying in that puppet form" tom replies then looked sad when mentioning the puppet form and emily smiles at him
"...i know you were, i would be heartbroken too if i saw that but with you, seddy or even mima" emily says calmly and looked sad thinking about it
tom holds out his arms meaning he wants to hug emily and she jumps into his arms happily, they have a hug with tom hugging emily and emily headbutting tom chin while purring
"i love you, dad" emily says happily while still purring
"love you too, sweetheart" tom replies and he kisses emily on the head
they hug for another minute thrn emily goes back to her chair, they carry on having their food, after they had their food, it was back to the picture and that was an hour and a half, before the photos were over, tom was called away to do something quick so emily was left alone
"emily?" a little voice says and emily looks around confused
suddenly next to emily was a little boy that looked off as it looked see though and he looked scared
"umm...can we have a song?" the little boy asks and he holds up a microphone in his right hand
emily looks at the boy and felt a similar feeling to the little girl in the strawberry phone a week ago, she smirks at that memory and looks at the boy
"sure!" emily says happily and brings out her pink microphone
the song starts playing (which sounds like it's complicated from the fnf doki doki takeover mod mixed with deep breath also from the fnf doki doki takeover mod) and it sounded amazing, when the song was over which lasted 3 minutes, the boy looked happy and content
"thank you, emily, i can leave now" the little boy says with a sad smile and tears coming off his eyes "tell your dad he was a good singer and i hope to see you with the little girl you helped in your dreams...bye!" he says then he disappears with a light pointing onto him
when he was gone emily looks at where the boy was and then hears tom calling her
"emily? we have to go home now!" tom shouts and emily looks in the direction of the voice
"comin'!" emily replies and goes over to tom after grabbing her phone which she was make float with her magic
the pair meet up and they teleport home with emily's magic, when they to the living room of their house, they see sebastian reading a book thrn he smiles when he see the pair
"oh you're back" sebastian says happily and he goes over to tom
"yeah, i missed you" tom says happily and they have a kiss
after the kiss emily was lying on the sofa as she has 'died' again from the cuteness of her parents and the pair chuckle
"so what happened while you were at the convention?" sebastian asks and emily sits up with a worried look
"da ting came back!" emily says and sebastian looks at her
"you mean the doll human thing?" sebastian says looking worried and emily nods
"reah but now it was a otter mascot ting, dook!" emily says and holds up her phone
she then connects it to the tv and plays the video when tom and sebastian sit down together with the video starting with emily looking away from tom from the time travel movie/ tv show 'fall out', the video the the event from tom and emily seeing the otter mascot but nobody else does, the black out, the otter mascot thing appearing from the black out and challenging emily to another sing off, emily winning the first 2 times then the otter mascot thing puppeting emily causing tom to take over, tom breaking emily out of the puppet form and tom having a song with the otter mascot thing, then emily taking back the microphone for the last battle and when she wins, she tells the otter mascot thing to go away and when it was gone, it went back to normal
"dat's what happened...in da panel, den dis took place in the photo booth before me and tom came home" emily says and played the next video
the video was of the photo booth song she had with the ghost of the little boy and it sounds similar to the one with the little girl where it sounded sad but hopeful, when the song ends, the little goes off after thanking emily and tom then then video ends with emily looking at where the little boy was
"who was that boy?" tom asks and emily thinks as she puts her paw in her mouth
"i tink da little boy was in the otter mascot costume but den became possessed by da disease" emily says thinking "so den when me and dad defeated da otter mascot, da boy was free like what da little girl was" she adds and the pair agree with her thought
"do you think the disease is gone?" sebastian asks emily and emily shrugs
"i dunno, i looked up da disease with me friend lauren and according to her, da disease is called da objaitis disease, its a rare diease to have and a strange one too, when you get it 'which you have to be a smoker & drinker, have a really bad uncureable illness or have a pure evil heart' da diease will make you turn into anything you touch and stay that way perminatly and when you become something human like for example a doll, a mannequin, a mascot outfit or others, you turn into what we saw" emily explains and the pair had loads of mixed emotions "but the good news is...i think...that only around 4 people get it a year so it's not dat knowable and other good news is dat we figured out how to get rid of it" she adds and brings out her pink microphone
"what? singing to the diease?" sebastian says and emily nods
"reah, we do dat or i adventure to da center of da earth and look for a flower called the melody flower which gets rid of da diease instantly and da hooman will be cured" she explains and the pair were interested
"...i think i like the singing one" sebastian says happily and looks at tom
"i like the singing one too, expecally with you singing, sweetheart, you are a great singer" tom adds and emily blushes while swarlig her right paw on the coffee table with her tongue sticking out
"aww, i am? i mean-of course i am!" emily says happily and she giggles "well, i'm going to bed, that singing and anger took alot out of me, see you in a bit" she adds and leaves taking her phone with her
she goes to her room and plug her phone into her laptop, she then edited the video and then uploaded the video to youtube, she had to leave in the comment that it wasn't fake even though people won't remember it as they were all absorbed by the otter mascot thing and hopefully this will be the last time, people jumps onto the video when it was uploaded and it gained over 1 million views in 20 minutes, emily at that point had fallen asleep and has a dream about the little boy and the little girl playing with each other in a big field with a playground in the background, the kids go off to the playground and emily wave them off with a smile on her face also leaving a real smile on her sleeping face
