Doctor Who - Team TARDIS - The Theatre of Puppets

It has been 2 weeks now since the doctor and emily saved martha from the strange woman who turned out to be a old high school friend of the doctor and the master called 'the witch' who the doctor knew but couldn't really remember, martha was now safe with micky who was happy to see the doctor again after 15 and a half years and the doctor also got to meet martha and micky's son, daniel who is a almost a year older then rosie, the doctor helped martha get in touch with donna who was happy to hear from her after all this time and the pair had a meet up together with the kids joining in just to check out what was up, the young teens ending up liking each other and they decided to get to know each other more by inviting their friends for a day out together for a weekend chill out which went well and the pair keep in contact with each other often, it was now a nice day and the doctor had heard from UNIT that his other him had just faced off ageist off 'the one who waits' which turned out to be sutek, the doctor was surprised to hear that name again after all this time and was more surprised to hear that it had been clinging to the outside of the TARDIS all the time too for years but he was glad to hear that it was defeated thanks to his other self and his companion named ruby sunday who looked a mix of rose and clara.
the doctor though was now feeling like a sitting duck, sure he had his own TARDIS, his master back as well as his and the master's daughter, lily, emily with her parents and both donna with her family and now martha but he felt useless, he felt like UNIT should of called him and emily for help with this issue but they decided to get the other him to help instead, he now just felt a little depressed as he lay on his and the master's bed with his arms outstretched while the master was sitting at the desk feeding lily
"...why don't you take the TARDIS out for a while to cheer you up, you've been like that all morning" the master says as he looks at the doctor annoyed
"no! and if i did, i'm not sure where to go, it feels like i've been everywhere at this point" the doctor replies sad and annoyed still in the same bored pose
"that's surprising coming from you, you always tell me there is always somewhere to go, even if the TARDIS goes to auto pilot and take you to a place you didn't want to go" the master says unamused but curious as he looks at the doctor
the doctor didn't respond and didn't move as he still laid on the bed looking at the ceiling, he looked annoyed, lost in thought and a little depressed, the master felt bad for the doctor so after lily was fed, he put her in her cot where she went to sleep and he goes on the bed with the doctor lying next to him, the doctor hug him close but doesn't really acknowledge him, meanwhile with emily and she was napping in her room after spending the morning with her dads, mima was next to her asleep while using emily's side as a pillow and as she was napping, her laptop was playing in the background as it helps her sleep and it was playing calming music, in the living room and both tom and sebastian were there snoozing as they didn't really have anything to do even if they did want to do something, back with the doctor and the master and the pair were just lying in the bed until the master loudly sighs then sits up to face the doctor looking annoyed
"look, why don't you take emily, go in the TARDIS and let the TARDIS take you a random place, i hate seeing you like this so you need to go do something" the master says looking both annoyed and concerned and the doctor looks at him sadly
"...alright but if i'm still miserable when i get back, i'm blaming you as this was your idea" the doctor says annoyed as he sits up to look at the master better then point to his chest
"okay but i know you and i know that after one adventures you'll be back to your happy joyful self in no time" the master replies and the doctor glances at him after he gets up from the bed
the doctor then leaves the room to go get emioy from her room and when he gets there, he sees emily was just waking up from her nap as she had heard the doctor and the master talking about going out
"hi friend! where going?" emily says happily as she rolls onto her back not disturbing mima while looking up at the doctor 
"i'm going out for a bit, you wanna come with?" the doctor replies with a little smirk and emily does a open mouth smile with her tongue sticking out
"reah! me love to!" emily says happily as she nods her head excited and the doctor smiles at her excitement
emily then moved away from mima not to disturb her as she was still asleep after grooming her head as her way of kissing her and when emily sees that mima was still asleep after she flew over to the doctor, she smiles and the pair go back to the doctor's room heading to the TARDIS, emily heads into the TARDIS and the doctor soon joins her after he gives a goodbye kiss to lily and the master, when the doctor gets in the TARDIS, he walks over to the console where emily was waiting for him and he flicks a few switches making the TARDIS take off, the doctor put the controls to random and emily could hear the TARDIS giggle as she had an idea
"oh no, she's giggling" emily says amused as she looks at the doctor and then she giggles herself
the doctor smirks and the TARDIS flies though the time vortex happily having a good idea where she wants to take the doctor and emily, the TARDIS soon lands somewhere with a bit of a thud and emily goes onto the doctor's shoulder when he walks over to the door of the TARDIS,  the doctor opens the door of the TARDIS and the pair see that they were at the edge of a field which was dark but looking like it was going to rain
"hey, i tink i see lights on over dere" emily says as she points to her left where a load of lights in the distance can be seen "shall we go over dere?" she asks curiously as she looks back at the doctor with a little smile
"sure, let's see what all the lights are about but from the looks of it, it could be either a circus or a amusement park" the doctor replies with a calm shrug as he starts walking and he looks at the lights before glancing at emily
"i-i hopes it's not a circus, i don't like clowns" emily says as she poofs up a little in fright
"don't worry, if it's a circus and there is a clown, i will hug you if it gets too much for you" the doctor says calmly as he pets emioy on the head which calms her down a little
"...thanks friend" emily mumbles happily and she headbutts the doctor in the cheek which makes him smile
the pair soon makes it to the lights ana it turn out to be a amusement park, the amusement park looked really new but there was nobody around as the doctor and emily walk inside the place with no issue, the pair look around and see that the place looked really clean but there was just nobody around as there was nobody by the stalls, nobody behind the stalls, all the attractions were on but nobody managing them, no music playing and it felt like a desert wasteland
"maybe dey forgot to turn da lights off for da night?" emily says as she looks at the doctor then back to looking around again
"...it does look like that but it also feels like something else happened here" doctor replies as he was thinking about it
"what mean? like, everyone was taken or somethin'?" emily says with a confused head tilt as she looks back at the doctor again
"yes and no, the no is because there doesn't seem to be a struggle by the lack of stuff on the floor as during a panic, people usually drop loads of stuff out if fear but it was like everyone here were taken willingly" the doctor says thinking as he looks around
"friend, look!" emily says suddenly sounding shocked as she points in front of her making the doctor stop in his tracks
the doctor looks where emily was pointing and in front of the pair was a theatre which was the cause of most of the lights in the amusement park, both the outside and inside lights were on like people were in there but when the doctor and emily peaked into the glass door, there was nobody inside
"i wonder what's going on?" emily asks confused with a head tilt
"i don't know...let's find out!" the doctor replies curiously but then gets his little boy smile as he opens the door using his sonic screwdriver as the door was locked
the doctor walks inside after opening the door and both him and emily look around with emily feeling both uneasy on how quiet it was and uncomfortable that something was wrong
"somethin' wrong and i don't like it!" emily says telling the doctor how she felt and the doctor hums agreeing with her
"yes, something does feel very wrong here" the doctor says agreeing with emily as he looked both confused and uncomfortable
suddenly the doors that are beside the reception booth leading into the theatre open making the doctor looking them confused while emily jolts a little out of fright making her electricity spark a little off her body, emily then looks at the doctor and she looked worried as her ears were drooping and she looks aback at the doors that just opened
"are you sure you want to see? dis doesn't feel right" emily says worried with caution as she looks back at the doctor
suddenly a bang was heard and both the doctor and emily turn around to see that the doors have suddenly gained thick steel bars not letting them get out
"i don't think we have a choice" the doctor says as he looks at emily worried and emily huffs a worried sigh as she looks between the doctor and the theatre doors
the doctor and emily go inside the theatre and see that the room was completely empty and the curtains to the stage were shut, suddenly, a spotlight is turned on and the light was pointing to a seat, the seay was in the middle of the third row and the doctor goes over to it looked concerned and confused, he sits down in the chair with emily going onto his lap and then suddenly, a rope like belt comes out of the seat and straps the doctor into the chair, a rope then appears and it goes around emily's waist behind her arms and on top of her wings so she couldn't fly away
"wh-what going on?!" emily says stressed as she tries to break free by pulling and biting the rope but the rope wasn't budging
suddenly the curtains on the stage open and both the doctor and emily stop fighting to see what was going on with the stage, after the curtains open, a backdrop of a town appears and then a human sized marionette puppet appears that looks creepy, emily snarls not liking the puppet but she doesn't growl yet as she was a little curious
"once upon a time, there was a man who loved to travel, he would travel the world from canada to australia and he enjoyed travelling, during his travels, he would pick up women of any shape and size, ages from young as 16 to old as 40, he also had some men travel with him, he has had a few dogs travel with him before one of the woman he traveled with took the dog with them when they left and then he has lately had a cat travel with him, the man loved travelling mainly with people but he always ends up being on his own somehow, it didn't help he had no family as he was raised an orphan and he rarely kept in contact with the friends he made as he never carried technology with him, the only friend he did have was his pet cat that he found again after she ran away for a few years before returning to him again, the pair were and still are inseparable and have a bond stronger then a man and a dog, the issue is now that the man was getting on a bit being in his mid 60s so he had been told but his current friends that he should settle down and save up his money for his great grandkids which are his friends great grandkids as he never got a love life, he didn't want to though and he still wanted to keep travelling but he also understood that his body was starting to fail him as he couldn't climb hills like he use too so he came up with a plan, he would have a apprentice take his place travelling the world while he was in retirement and that is what he did but he still had an itch for travelling so the apprentice had an idea and he gave the man a car so he could travel around the UK until he can retire on his own, the man loved this idea and since then, he has traveled around the UK with his cat and his current friends while the apprentice traveled the world like what the man used to do" the story teller explains and both the doctor and emily were speechless on what they were hearing
"dat story sounded a lot like a more down to earth story of you" emily says as she looks at the doctor and points to him
the doctor looked serious as he was thinking and he nods at emily as he looks at her until some wood clanking together caused the pair to look back at the stage
"now that the man is having his retirement, he is starting to feel lonely again as his friends don't visit him like they use too and he can't seem to get a love life due to his age, but luckily, he had a plan to make sure that everyone will stay with him and he'll never be lonely again!" the story teller explains and then a fog starts coming into the room
the doctor and emily look around confused then the doctor start coughing while emily tries to hold her breath in
"it's sleeping gas!" the doctor says realising what it was
he tries to hold back his sleep but then he drops off to sleep with his head falling back, emily still held her breath but then she had to end up breathing as she almost couldn't so she let go of her breath, she then drops off to sleep laying on the doctor's lap and now the pair were fast asleep while some wood can be heard clanking in the background, suddenly emily wakes up and sees that she was still in the theatre but it was a little darker now only having the lights on the stage lit up, emily then hears a grown and she turns around to see the doctor looking dazed as he was waking up
"friend! are otay?" emily says relieved that the doctor was with her then asked concerned
"i'm okay, where are we?" the doctor mumbles as he lifts up his head and looks around still trying to wake up
"still in da theatre but we aren't tied down anymore" emily says as she flies up a little to show she didn't have the rope around her waist anymore
the doctor gets up seeing that he wasn't straped down either and he looks around before decided to head to the exit doors, emily flies into his shoulder as the doctor went up the stairs but when he gets to the doors, he sees that the doors were replaced by a wall of bricks
"what?" the doctor says confused as he puts his hands on the bricks
"how long was we asleep for?" emily says confused as she looks between the brick wall and the doctor
"i don't know but apparently it was long enough for this brick wall to be built here" the doctor says as he pulls back from the wall to glance at emily
suddenly a noise was heard and emily's ears twitch and she quickly turns around to the stage where she sees a man standing there, the man was wearing a pure black suit with a black and white stripy tie and he was also wearing a scary looking white mask on his face, emily growls and snarls aggressively with a hiss and the doctor turns around to see the man before he ran off inside the stage
"hey, wait!" the doctor says concerned holding his hand out and then he runs off to the stage
when he gets to the stage, he goes though the curtains and sees that the stage wasn't a stage anymore, instead it was a maze with cardboard cutout of tall bushes and trees everywhere, the place also looked very ominous as there was a strange thickish fog around and there was this sudden eerie music coming from the speakers that can be seen in the cardboard trees
"friend, i don't like dis!" emily says as she looks around a little scared as she was crouching and looking poofy
the doctor looks at emily worried and he hums with a nod agreeing with her but his curiosity was getting the better of him as he started following the maze, the maze made emily and the doctor feel like they shouldn't be there as the doctor walked more and more into the maze only getting dead ends a few times, soon, the doctor reached the end of the maze where they were now what looked to be a alleyway but the building were made of cardboard, emily and the doctor kept going with emily still feeling uncomfortable and uneasy while the doctor looked worried, suddenly the man in the mask appears at the 'end' of the alleyway and emily starts snarling and growling again while the doctor looked serious
"hey!" the doctor calls out seriously to the man and the man runs off to the left auite quickly after the doctor calls out
the doctor runs down the alleyway hoping to catch the man but when he gets to the end of the alleyway and looks to the left, he and emily sees that there was another alleyway and this one contained scary looking marionette puppet attached to string, emily makes herself poofy and hisses at the puppets as she didn't like them and she then starts snarling and growling cautiously, the doctor causiously walks down the alleyway as both him and emily who was still growling and snarling aggressively were watching the puppets closely, emily did hiss at the puppets to more warn them then anything and as the doctor kept going, he notice that the alleyway was changing into a half alleyway and half maze, they seem also to be loads of tight corners and as the doctor keeps going after turning one of these tight corners, the puppets which were still scattered about everywhere, start laughing which made emily hiss loudly out of both aggression and fear
"it's okay, emily, it's okay" the doctor mumbles as he pets emily in the side of her head which does help emily a little to calm her down
the doctor kept moving till he reached another tight corner and emily was kinda glad to be away from the marionette puppet, suddenly, emily hears a wooden clanking noise and she turns around behind her as the doctor keeps walking, at first, emily didn't know what she was looking for but then she spots it and it was one of the puppets but it had its arm raised up and it had a butchers knife in its raised arm, emily growls as she stares at it and she notice it doesn't move, the doctor then turns a corner making emily not see the puppet making her slightly relieved but then it appears again as the doctor starts walking down the alleyway
"umm, friend, i need you to keep movin' and don't turn around" emily says as she looks at the puppet to keep it in place
"what, why?" the doctor asks confused as he  glances at emily but he doesn't turn around
"dere is a puppet following us and it had a butchers knife glued to its right hand, it's moving like a weeping angle as well so i'll stare at it while you keep movin' otay?" emily explains in a aggressive hiss whispers as she keeps looking at the puppet intently
the doctor doesn't say anything and just nods, he then keeps moving deciding to start jogging while emily stares down the puppet which only moves during blind spots as the doctor turns a corner, as the doctor kept going, more puppets appears and there were mostly standing there trying to block the doctor but some of the puppets had butchers knifes like the one following them and they tried to stab the doctor as he jogged past but missed, some more puppets ended up following the doctor and emily and emily had to end up using her electricity to stop the puppet which caused them to be pulled up by their strings by something emily couldn't see
"i don't know if dat did anythin' but at least it stunned them" emily says stressed out after seeing the puppets go up
the doctor kept jogging and soon, he sees an exit, he runs over to it as the puppets came back doubling the amount there was before all holding butcher knifes and the puppets threw the butcher knifes at the doctor but he luckily made it though the door, the door shuts with a stone block and the butcher knifes hit the wall after the door was shut
"oh! dat was close! dey threw the butcher knifes at us!" emily says relieved as she puts her head on her paws while the doctor sinks to the ground exhausted from jogging
"w-what is this place? it had killer puppets and now we are on a path" the doctor says confused as he stands up again and sees that both him and emily were on a dirt path
the path seem to lead to somewhere and the doctor decided to follow it curiously, the path luckily wasn't very long and when the pair make to the path's destination, they sees that they were now at a circus
"oh no, not a circus, anythin' but a circus" emily says looking stressed as she ducks down with her ears drooping and her fur getting poofy
the doctor understood emily's fear as he looks around the circus worried but then he spots the masked man in the suit from earlier near the circus tent opening, the man waves his hand taunting the doctor to follow him before he goes inside the tent, the doctor looks at the tent, glanced at emily who was slightly shaking from fear as she didn't want to be there and then he sighed before he decides to go in the tent, once inside, the doctor grabs emily so he could hold her just in case and he looks around as he feels emily dig her head into the doctor's right arm, the doctor then looks up and looks around the room seeing that there were definitely in a circus tent but all the booths where people sat was filled with marionette puppets with butcher knives glued to their right hands, suddenly a bight stage light pops on and the doctor looks away for a second from the bright light then looks back again to see the light shining on a stool in the middle of the arena, then the man in the mask appears on the stool but he was now wearing a circus leader attire with a top hat in his right hand
"ladies and gentlemen! welcome to the circus!" th mean in the mask says yelling happily and the puppets in the booths were clapping happily "we have a lovely show tonight as we have a new act!" he adds and a curious ooo type noise was heard "this act is going to blow you away as it's going to be daring, amazing and the talk of the town!" he adds again and the puppet clap and cheer happily
the doctor wasn't sure what was going on but he didn't like it while emily was still hiding in the doctor's arms just in case some clowns appear but she then pokes her head out a little with her right eye open to see what was going on
"that special act is about to start so wait patiently as we get ready!" the man in the mask says and he disappears as briefly as he came
the doctor was confused what was going on but then suddenly, he was grabbed from behind by a big puppet and he almost drops emily from surprise until he recovered and held emily close, the puppet places the doctor with emily on the stool the man in the mask was standing on a second ago and the doctor was confused yet worried about what was going to happen, the man in the mask comes back and the doctor wonders what's going to happen
"so everyone, this is the volunteer to our first act and what he's going to do is stand there while our entertainers give him a show he won't forget!" the man in the mask says then he disappears leaving the doctor as well as emily confused on what was happening
suddenly from the curtains behind the doctor and emily, some entertainers appear and they were puppet dressed up to look like clowns, emily takes one look and then going back to hiding while shaking as the puppet clown looked terrifying, the clown spin around the stool the doctor was on while juggling juggling balls but then they suddenly turn into throwing knifes, the doctor gasps before ducking down when he sees the throwing knives being thrown at him and the knifes end up hitting the clown puppets causing them to stop moving, the doctor stands up again to look what happened and he only had a few seconds to look before the puppets shoot up into the top of the tent which was pitch black, the puppets in the booths were making a weird wood clanking noise making the doctor confused what they were until realising they were disappointed on what happened.
suddenly the curtains open again and it was more of them clown puppets moving to be in front of the doctor, the doctor looked confused until he glance over his shoulder to see a target behind him, he freaks out realising what was going on and he jumps off the stool as the throwing knives were about to hit him, the throwing knives hit the target but not the doctor, the doctor sighs in relief but then freaks out and starts running around the arena as the clown puppets were throwing more throwing knives at the doctor coming out of nowhere
"this isn't entertainment! this is more torture!" the doctor says as he ran while dodging the throwing knives which seem to be getting bigger
"now you know how i feels being in here with da clowns!" emily says from the doctor's arm and the doctor doesn't say anything as he keeps running
the knives kept coming as the doctor ran in circles around the arena but he was noticing that the knives were heading into the booths hitting all the puppets in the booths, he also remembered that hitting the puppets with the knives made them stop before so as he ran, he would collect the knives that were easily reachable and then throw them back at the puppets
"hey! return to sender!" the doctor says proudly as he threw the knife
the knife he threw hits one of the clown puppets in the head and it makes it stop and then fly up into the pitch blackness at the top of the tent, the doctor does this a few more times hitting the puppet with the throwing knives until they were gone, after the doctor hits the last puppet, he stops by the curtain him and emily came in and he sighs in relief that he doesn't have to run anymore, he then looks around at the booth to see that almost all the puppets have collapsed being cut from their string or having a throwing knife in them
"is it over?" emily says as she looks up from hiding and looks around
"yeah...it's over" the doctor replies slightly panting while emily looks around
"wow, it looks like a bomb full of knives hit dis place" emily says stunned on all the knives there were then she looks at the doctor
suddenly the lights go off making it go almost pitch black with only 2 spotlights on, one on the doctor and emily and the other pointing to the curtains where the clown puppets came from, the doctor and emily look at each other confused before the pair go to the curtain a mix of curious and caution, once they get to the curtain, they go in cautiously to see blackness and emily jumps onto the doctor's shoulder as the doctor heads inside the darkness and then emily crouches down scared as she was getting scared of the dark, the doctor could feel emily's fear as she was shaking a little so he grabs  his sonic screwdriver and turns it on making it become a flashlight, the doctor shines the light around seeing nothing but more darkness but then he finally spots something making him goes over to it, what he spotted was a booth and it was one of those booths you find in fairs for the different games you see like fish the duck and hit the target or bottles, the doctor looks at the booth curiously with emily doing the same thing then the doctor finds one of the doors which was a door on the left side is open so he steps inside, he and emily sees that the booth looked used but there was nobody inside and the pair were confused about why there was a fair booth in the middle of the darkness.
suddenly, out of nowhere and lights started to flick on and it was revealed that the pair were at a fair at night, there was also sudden fair music playing from the speaker attached to the booth and emily could see there were other closed fair booths around the booth her and the doctor were in
"...dis is really weird and really confusing" emily says as she looks around confused then at the doctor who was nodding agreeing with her
suddenly, the man with the mask appears out of nowhere in front of the booth people stand and emily growl and snarls at him while the doctor was surprised about his appeance, the man in the mask then holds out a card and the doctor slowly takes it from the man while emily still growls and snarls on the doctor's shoulder, the doctor takes the card and looks at it
'your final challenge is to try and keep the music on for 30 mintues as my buddy doesn't like this type of music, good luck!' the card says and the doctor looks at it confused as well as emily
the doctor looks up wanting to ask the masked man who his 'buddy' was but the man disappeared the same as he appeared leaving the doctor confused and low key worried
"i wonder who dis buddy is of da masked man? and i don't like dis" emily says as she points to the card and then shakes her head worried
"yeah, this isn't good but it is the last challenge so hopefully after we do it, we should be able to get out of whatever this place is" the doctor replies calmly yet serious and emily droops her ears while looking worried as she didn't really want to do whatever this was but she and the doctor really had no choice in the matter
"i tink da worst part about dis is dat we have no idea what we are suppose to do other den keep da music on" emily says as she looks at the doctor then to the speaker on the wall which suddenly turns off
"...well, i guess we have to find out now" the doctor says smirking but he was still worried
the doctor then looks at the speaker and then uses his sonic screwdriver on it which seems to turn it back on, emily then sees something in the shadows flee away when the music came back on and emily growl and snarls as she jumps onto the counter, then suddenly, the puppets from the alleyway came back from before now with throwing knifes and they threw them at emily, emily instantly fires a lightning bolt at the knifes making them fall to the floor suddenly and the doctor and emily found out what their job were for the next 30 mintues, the doctor was in charge of the speaker keeping it on with his sonic screwdriver and emily was playing target practise with throwing knife, the more time went down, the harder the situation got but as time went down, emily realises that the song that was playing though the speakers sound really familiar then she got it as she lights up remembering
"wait! da song is just sweet snow from dreams slowed down, why is it slowed down?!" emily says first realising then confused as she looks at the speakers then to the doctor
"maybe slowing it down makes the masked man's buddy confused and hate it" the doctor replies theorising and then uses his screwdriver on the speaker again "it does sound weird and i wouldn't like it if i was the buddy" he adds as he looks at emily who was striking some throwing knifes from the air
"reah, me neither" emily says as she stops her electricity as th knives had stopped being thrown
soon the 30 mintues were up and the lights and the music suddenly cut going dark again, emily looks around the room as she senses something and then she spots it making her growl, snarl, get poofy and hiss while the doctor looks at her confused, what she saw was a human shape being in a black cloak and  it looked like it was wearing a mask with big eyes with little pupils, a gaping mouth and fangs on the top of what look to be many teeth, emily kept hissing as she didn't like it and the doctor picks her up as he finally notice it too looking worried and a little scared
"okay then, i think it's time to go now!" the doctor says after he grabs emily the he bolts out of the booth
the doctor runs as fast as he can while the monster was chasing him and emily and emily was still looking poofy, snarling, growling and hissing at it aggressively while she was looking behind with her paws in the doctor's left shoulder, soon, the doctor sees a exit door which was slightly open and he instantly goes though it without a second thought, the exit door  was one of those fire exit doors so when the doctor shut the door, it locks and he can hear the monster banging on the door as he leans ageist it
"phew! that was close!" the doctor says relieved to be away from that monster then he looks over at emily who was still poofy, snarling and growling but she wasn't hissing anymore
the doctor calms her down by stroking her back and this makes her calm down a little as her wings come from being tucked in and then she shakes her body to relieve stress before she goes back to where she was before on the doctor's left shoulder smiling at him, the doctor and emily then looks around and sees that they were back at the theatre again but this time behind stage and they came in though the fire door for the staff and stars to leave out off if there was a fire, behind stage was messy as it looked like it hadn't been used in a while and then emily sees the seats that her and the doctor were sitting in earlier
"hey, look! dats da seats we were sitting in earlier, did we do a strange roam around da building?" emily says as she points to the chairs then looks at the doctor confused
"i don't know but this place is really weird, we should get out of here" the doctor says looking worired as he looks around the room then to emily who nods agreeing with him
the dcotor with emily then leave the theatre which was easier now as nothing was blocked off and as they leave, they see that it was morning and the place still looked the same as it did before but now more seeable
"oi, you!, what are you doing here at this time in the mornin'?!" a voice suddenly says and it was from a janitor man as he came running over
"we just came out of the theatre over there!" the doctor says happily as he points behind him where the theatre was
"umm, friend, da theatre is gone..." emily says as she turns around and the doctor also turns around the see that not only was the theatre gone but it also looked like it wasn't there in the first place making the pair confused
"what in sam hill are you talking about? a theatre doesn't exist in this park, you must of had really bad hang over or something, now git outta here!" the janitor man says annoyed and he then starts sweeping the ground again leaving the doctor and emily alone
the doctor and emily look at each other confused on what just happened and then they walk off out the park to the TARDIS but as they do, emily couldn't help but feel like she was being watched as she looks around behind her and does a snarl as a warning, the doctor and emily soon get to the TARDIS and the pair go inside hoping to get out of this place, emily then goes over to the chair while the doctor goes to the console more leaning on it then doing anything
"so, what want do now? go back or go somewhere else? it's your call" emily says as she looks up at the doctor looking curious
'oh! i have a great place i can take you two, you'll be so happy to be there that i'm sure the doctor will be smiling none stop when it'll be time to leave!' emily hears the TARDIS says happily and she smiles on how excited she sounded
meanwhile the doctor was just leaning on the console looking lost in thought, he was thinking about that theatre and what was it about, it just appeared, took emily and him on a weird horror trip with scary puppets that can kill you with throwing knives, a scary wide eyes, big mouth monster that scared emily and who was that man in the mask? this was all very confusing to the doctor as he felt while being in that theatre it was like the toymaker's domaine but he's folded up like origami inside of a box so this couldn't be his doing, the doctor felt stumped on what just happened and he didn't hear emily calling him until she ended up shouting
"FRIEND E FRIEND!" emily shouts kinda aggressively and this snapped the doctor out of his thoughts "you okay? you seem confused?" she then says calmly as she looks at the doctor worried
"...it's okay, just thinking, anyway, i wanna go home, i need some tea" the doctor says calmly yet having a smile on his face but emily could feel the doctor's confusion and worry
the TARDIS then leaves and as it does, the janitor that was in the park turns around and it turned out to be the man in the mask, he then does a shh with his finger on his mask mouth and then clicks his fingers with his left hand, the park that was there was now gone and it turns out the TARDIS was parked in the middle of nowhere as nothing but lands of fields can be seen for miles.
