IRL - The Clown Virus

(The area is based on the award ceremony where tom won best male actor and the loki tv series won the best disney+ tv series, also this is a continuation of the other fanfic 'the evil animatronic' so read that one before you read this one)

it had been a week since emily had defeated buffo the clown animatronic, saved about 375 million children and helped 5 animatronics start a children's restaurant with emily gaining £165,000 for the restaurant, since then the restaurant has been thriving and loads of kids love going there even saying it's better then any fast food restaurant like mcdonald's, kfc and burger king to name a few, also the 5 animatronics that are in the restaurant which are kitty kat, duggy, felix, buns and bucket love being around kids and the staff of the place keep the animatronic clean, functioning and happy, emily has no idea what happened to buffo after she turned him into dust and she hopes she'll never see him again hoping that he is dead and gone but she had been noticing something happening though social media.
slowly a strange virus has been effecting loads of electronics like smart phones, computers, tablets, laptops, tv and other things and it makes the electronic stop working and then a clown face appears in the middle of the screen before the electronic glitches out, this virus has been named 'the clown virus' and it's slowly taking over every electronic in the word, luckily it hasn't got to the electronic emily, tom sand sebastian own and emily is a little worried that it will get to their electronics eventually, there has been people trying to figure out how to get rid of the virus but so far no luck as the virus is still new and has been around for almost a week since the virus has been around, the only thing that is suggested that you do if you have the virus is you turn off you electronic and turn it back on again, it will get rid of the virus for a few hours at most before it attacks the electronic again then repeat turning it off then on again.
anyway, back on track and today which was the 7th of december was the tonys award ceremony and tom was nominated for best male actor of 2021 while both tom and emily were nominated for best tv series for the loki tv series, sebastian was going too but he was going as tom's plus one as he was his husband after all, so both tom and sebastian were ready for go to the awards band emily was ready too but for some reason, the awards had asked emily in a letter that she needed to wear a dress as they wanted her to look lovely and cute so she put a cat sized dress on and the dress was a blush pink colour with a white ribbon and bow going around her middle below her wings with the bow on her back and the back of the dress had holes in it for her wings to come out
"i feel...weird" emily says as she looks at her dress as she hasn't wore a dress in a while
"i think you look cute" sebastian says as he was fixing his tie
"i know i look cute, fabulous even but i said dat i feel weird in dis dress as i haven't wore a dress in a while" emily says looking at herself in the mirror then turning around to sebastian looking sassy
"meh, you'll get use to it" sebastian says and he scratches emily on her head making her purr happily
when sebastian stopped petting her, emily looks over at tom and he was looking at his phone confused
"vhat wrong, dad?" emily asks curiously as she puts her right paw on her mouth
"it's my...phone, it's acting odd" tom replies and emily goes over to him
"let me see" emily says and she holds out her right paw
tom hands her his phone and emily looks at it, she then turns it off and back on again and it was now working fine
"fix it! dere you nar!" emily says happily and hands the phone back to tom
he checks it and it was back to the way it was before acting up
"thank you sweetheart" tom says happily and he pets emily on the head "but...what was wrong with it?" he asks as he takes he hand away from emily and holds up his phone
"vell, dere seems to be a virus goin' around dats effectin' all electronics call the clown virus and i tink your phone just caught it" emily explains as she points to tom's phone "you better check yours as well, seddy, dis virus is weirdly contagious" she adds and points to sebastian's pocket where she knows where his phone is
"what do i do if my phone does have it?" sebastian asks as he takes out his phone from his pocket
"turn your phone off then on again, it will stall the virus for a few hours but den when it comes back, do it again" emily says with some paw mentions
sebastian checks his phone and sees there was nothing wrong with it, he then puts it away and emily decides to check her phone, after grabbing it from her room, she sees that her phone was fine and she uses her magic to put it away
"so, should we go to da ting?" emily asks seeing that all 3 of them were ready and the both tom and sebastian nod happily
emily thrn teleport them to the place the award ceremony was and when they got to the red carpet, all the fans cheer while all the paparazzi started taking pictures, emily flew up as the paparazzi people were shouting again and it was making her feel anxious, there were loads of pictures taken in a hours of posing with tom, sebastian and other actors/actresses that were there and emily knew that on tumblr later, both tom and sebastian will be trending as all the girls on there have giant crushes on them, after what felt like forever getting pictures and signing autographs, it was time to go inside and all the actor/actresses sat on the stage on comfy chairs and sofas while the audience sat in those movie chairs, when everyone was calm, it was time to start and as the show was going and awards were given out, emily who was in the middle of tom and sebastian notice a lot of peoples phones were suddenly getting the clown virus very quickly which was really odd.
"ugh! the cameras aren't working!" emily hears one of the camera mans whisper as he smacks his camera
the cameras then glitch out and the clown appears making the camera man freak out, the clown also appears on the screen and it freaks out all the audience members, then emily could all of a sudden hear some sort of music, it was very faint but she could hear it and it sounded catchy but it also sounded like...
"why do i hear boss music?" emily mumbles as she looks around confused (no meme intended)
tom and sebastian heard her and they listen out, they also hear the music as it was getting louder and emily then looks up at the ceiling as that is where the music is coming from, suddenly a giant hole in the celling appears and all the audience members runs out of the room as the ceiling almost crushed them
"what's going on?" one of the actors asks really spooked and confused
suddenly a giant animatronic spider monster appears and it had a light gray head and body, about 8 giant hands, big black eyes, 2 little sticks under its eyes like a spider, clown makeup on its face and for some reason a strange red button in its back (if you couldn't tell, this is based on the the dj music man from fnaf security breach), the animatronic spider roars and emily goes to stands in the middle with a snarl on her face.
"SEARCHING! SEARCHING!..." the spider animatronic says and looks around with its black eyes
it scans the area and then it targets emily in a battle pose and snarling

objective - destroy emily the cat' the computer says in the animatronic spider says telling the spider what to do
"DESTROY CAT! DESTROY CAT!" the spider animatronic shouts and then it quickly lift and slams one of its 8 hands onto the stage
emily dodges out of the way while all the actors/actresses ran out off the stage to behind it even tom and sebastian and as the hand gets lifted back up, the ceiling falls some more and reveals the banisters above the spider animatronic, emily then figures out what she needs to do and she gets to work, she has to fly or climb up to the banisters and then land on the big red button on the back like it's a boss fight, emily gets to work and she sprints off to the left as she dodges a hand swip from the spider animatronic also the boss music was still playing and it was coming from the spider animatronic.
"emily! what is this thing doing here!" tom shouts from the side of the stage by the curtains with sebastian next to him as emily does a wall jump up to the left banisters
"i dunno but i tink i know who it belongs too!" emily says back as she stands on the banister
emily runs to behind the spider animatronic as it was attacking but it had a blind spot behind its head and it couldn't turn its head like an owl, emily then jumps off the banisters behind the spider animatronic and she uses a lightning bolt on the big red button, it damages the spider animatronic and emily flies back over to the stage as going back to where you was at the beginning is what you do in a boss fight, the spider animatronic then destroys the left banister so emily couldn't go that way and the fight 'starts over'.
this time in the fight, emily goes to the right and walls jumps up to the right banister also dodging the spider animatronics attacks, emily repeats what she did before of jumping off the banister from behind the spider animatronic and lightning striking the big red button on the spider animatronic's back causing it to be seriously damaged, the spider animatronic was starting to malfunction now and it destroyed the right banister as it was glitching out, also a panel fell from the chest of the spider animatronic to reveal the gears for the animatronic to move inside, emily knew that this was the new weak spot as the button was broken now and she couldn't 'reach' the button anymore.
emily guessed this was phase 2 of the fight as the spiders animatronics eyes changed from black to white and it hands had gained big metal claws which was worrying, the fight starts and the spider animatronic was going all in the clawed hands, emily dodged the best she could but she had gained some really bad scratches around her body while her dress was ruined, she then sees an opportunity when the spider animatronic does a fast claw attack, it will glitch out and stop which gave emily the time to shoot a lightning bolt at the weak spot which did a bit of damage to the spider animatronic, the animatronic then came back to life again and attacked again, emily dodged the best she could again but she gained some damage from some impossible attacks, she felt like she she was at low health from how much in pain she was but then the spider animatronic did the fast claw attack again and it made it glitch out, emily did another strong lightning bolt and this caused the animatronic to shut down.
"i...i did it" emily says sounding exhausted and weak and then she cheered by putting her right paw up like she was doing a peace sign but she has no fingers as she was a cat
it felt like there was a scoreboard next to emily like in the sonic games but she didn't notice the spider animatronic get up a little behind her till a scraping noise was heard, emily turns around to see what was going on but then she was whacked to the right by the spider animatronic's hand, the spider animatronic then shuts off and collapses to the ground, emily flies in the air and she does try and parachute herself with her wings but they don't open as they are scratched up, she then hits an end pole from the banister and one hits her in the back where the winds are and another hits her in the back of the head, the bang to the poles was really strong and emily gets knocked out by the 2 pains to her head and back, she then falls down and hits the ground after a little bounce
"emily!" both tom and sebastian as emily falls and when she hits the ground they bolt over to her
emily was unconsious when the pair reach her and she was covered in bloody deep cuts all over her body from her neck to her tail, luckily her face was okay other then a scratch going over her left eye but missing her eye but everywhere else was in bad shape, even her dress was damaged and unfixable, tom picks up emily and sebastian checks his phone, he sees that the clown virus is gone and every electronic in the building was okay again.
"it looks like it was that robot that was causing the virus to effect our phones and things" sebastian says as he looks at his phone then at tom
then tom sees that all the actor/actresses were walking back on stage as it had gone quiet and they see the animatronic was lifeless on the ground, even the audience members walk back in and was shocked by the lifeless animatronic
"what is that thing?" "how did it fit into the ceiling?" " hey! my phone is working again!" "my camera is working too!" "how was it defeated?" "this ceremony has been ruined thanks to that thing!" "yeah, now we don't know who won best male and female actor" "what going to happen now?" the audience members ask and say confused, worried and annoyed
emily then wakes up in tom's arms and she jumps out of his arms
"emily? what are you doing?" sebastian asks as he sees emily limping badly with blood behind her going towards the spider animatronic
emily didn't say anything but look at tom and sebastian, she then goes to the head of the spider animatronic and she put her paw on its middle below the eyes and above the little sticks, the head then opens and inside the head was a control panel, the control panel didn't have controls like most control panel but instead was loads of wires with a helmet in the top and in the control panel was the most damaged animatronic of buffo the clown, he was only just the head, chest and half of his arms, the rest was gone and he was glitching like crazy
"h-hi again" emily says weakly but trying not to show her fear as she was still scared of buffo after destroying him a week ago
"y-you! i t-though-gh i d-def-feat-ed y-you!" the very glitchy buffo says and emily looks around to see everyone was frozen in fear by the voice
"yeah...but no" emily replies still weakly and she shakes her when she says no "and i thought i defeated you with my beam attack, nothin' gets out of dat alive" she adds weakly with a little sass in her voice
"i-i up-uploaded-ed m-myself-ef t-to t-the in-internet-et wh-when-n y-you fi-fire th-the be-beam s-so i-i've-ve be-been-n re-rebuilding-ding my-myself-lf e-ever-ver si-since" buffo replies and emily makes a annoyed poker face
"of course you 'ave, it's like what all super evil robot villains do" emily says still weakly but sarcastically as she wasn't surprised "and i bet you are da one who made dis clown virus dat been effectin' everyone's electronics, aren't ya?!" she adds in a shout but she was still very weak
buffo laughs and he manages to takes off all the wiring that was around him, he then took his helmet off and he fall onto the stage a few feet away from emily which made her become worried
"n-now i-i h-have re-returned-ed, i-i'm go-going t-to de-destroy-oy y-you!" buffo says as he slowly crawls over to emily who was stepping away looking frightened but limping badly
as emily was stepping backwards, she looks to her right and then she gets an idea, she then gains a little weak grin then looks back at the crawling buffo
"you want to 'destroy' me but you seem to have forgotten one important ting" emily says and buffo stopped confused
"w-what's-s th-that?" buffo asked annoyed hating to waste time
"vell...you have forgotten dat...we aren't alone, we are in a place where dere is peeps everywhere and after i tell dem dat..." emily says smugly but still weak and then she uses her magic to grab the microphone "dis animatronic is the reason why 375 million children disappeared a week ago, he wanted to kill every single one of dem! for their innocent souls to put into other animatronics den take over the world!" she shouts into the mic and when she was done she hears everyone gasp in horror "dey won't like da sound of dat...and den dey will take action about it" she adds getting more smug
"...o-oh n-no-o" buffo says as he realises and then all of a sudden he was hit in the face with a baseball bat
he flies away into the angry crowd of people and they all start ripping apart like a crain with a old car
"NO-O-O-OOO-O-!" buffo shouts till he was completely shut down
emily looks over to see who it was with the baseball bat and it was sebastian as she watches him but the bat in his shoulder, she smiles at him also being suprised he could hit something that hard with a bat and then goes unconsious again as she falls to the floor, the next time emily wakes up she keeps her eyes closed at first but then she realises that she was in a comfy bed so she sits up and opens her eyes to see she was back in her room, she also sees that she is covered in bandages in all the places all the deep cuts were and under the bandages were cotton squares to keep the blood on, emily then decided to check her tablet for the date and time and she sees it was almost 3pm on the 8th of december which means she slept for 19 hours!
'what?! i slept for as long as a cat need sleep!...well i am a cat so it makes sense' emily thought then she huffs in laughter
emily then notices that she had a lot of notification from every social media she had which was a little confusing, she looks into it and it turns out that during the award ceremony when all the electronics were supposed to not be working due to the virus, one of the cameras didn't get the virus and it had recorded the whole event of emily verses the animatronic spider then emily verses the remains of buffo the clown before she passes out and now everyone knows what happened at the award ceremony, there was also a video uploaded to reddit, twitter and tumblr but reddit had the full version of the video as the tumblr and the twitter ones had emily slightly censored due to all her cut wounds as well as the second fight with the spider animatronic as it was cutting up emily badly.
after emily watched the whole video she notice a few things that she didn't notice before which is 1. how sebastian got the baseball bat and it was from tom who used his ring magic to spawn it and 2. what happened after emily passed out and what happen was after emily passed out, tom went over and picked emily up and then went back to sebastian, he then told him something which emily guessed to take the unconsious her to get bandaged up as sebastian takes emily from tom then leaves the stage, then the police came around and asked everyone is they were okay and that's where the video ended.
'dat had to be the most insane thing dat ever happened to me at a event' emily thought and then she looks at herself
she was bandaged up from neck to tail to even her wings but luckily she could move around, she looked in the mirror at her eye as she remembered that she had a scratch going down her left eye and sees that it was healing up quickly as she had a good healing factor like wolverine and deadpool does, she also guessed that all her other deep scratches around her body will be fully healed up in 2 days so she not worried about them, emily then decides that she wants to visit tom and sebastian as she hadn't seen them since the award ceremony and she need to see if they are okay so she was going to jump off the bed but then her legs went really weak and so she fell off her bed, she gets up fine but then she looks at her arms and legs confused, she then stands up again but her legs arms and legs became really weak again and emily kept thinking on either tucking in her legs or dragging her arms which she kept doing but then fixing herself.
emily managed to get out of her room and now she was stuck again, this time with the stairs and she was struggling how to get down, she couldn't fly due to her wings being wrapped up in bandages, her legs were weak and a little wobbly and she could use her magic but she didn't know how to use it, she then decided to walk down the stairs slowly and she puts her right paw on the first step, she carried on going down the stairs slowly till her left leg slipped and she sliced down the rest of the stairs, when she gets to the bottom, she gets up and feels a small pain come to her from the back of her legs, her chest and her belly from the slide hitting her deep scratches, it hurted for a moment but then it went away and she then went into the living room and when she gets there she sees tom and sebastian and when they see her, they sigh in relief and look at emily with those worried parent faces
"emily! are you okay?" tom asks and emily nods a little
"reah, i'm fione, had trouble goin' down the stairs but i'm 'ere now" emily says calmly and then she goes over to the sofa
she tries to jump onto the sofa but her weak legs wouldn't let her jump so she fell on the floor so then sebastian picks her up and placed her in the middle of him and tom
"are you sure you should be here, you are still recovering" tom says still worried
"and you can't seem to walk and jump very well" sebastian adds also looking worried
"i said i'm fione, i just have shaky legs but i'm sure it will subside" emily says brushing off her weak legs and she looks at her paws before looking back up at tom "so what's been happenin'?" she asks curiously wanting to know what happened while she was asleep
tom and sebastian explain that after sebastian took emily away to get bandaged up, the police question everyone what happened and when the police realise it was something that they weren't really trained for, something semi supernatural and they couldn't do much, they left and after some people removed the spider animatronic, the left overs of buffo and the ceiling that came off from the spider animatronic, the award ceremony continued and tom won the best male actor award with the loki tv series winning the best tv series of 2021
"yay!" emily says happily hearing tom won the 2 award and she puts her paws up happily to cheer but then she fall over
"ok, now we told you what happened while you were unconsious, can you tell us what that giant robot spider was and what was that scary voiced robot?" sebastian says curiously wanting to know what all that was that happened last night
"ok, so, you know vhat happened last week with dat restaurant with dat evil clown animatronic stealing 375 million children den i stopped it and den i turned da restaurant into a childrens restaurant getting £165,000 for it?" emily explains and both sebastian and tom knowing what she was talking about still kinda fresh in their minds "vell, it seems dat buffo uploaded himself into the internet as i destroyed him and he was the reason the clown virus exsisted, i'm guessin' he also made dat spider animatronic but i don't know how as he was just a head, chest and half his arms with loads of wires but he did, anyvay, hopefully now the clown virus is gone and buffo has been 100% destroyed so he will never appear again...hopefully" she kept explaining and when she was done both tom and sebastian understand as they both nod
"so, when do you think your injuries will heal as i know you told me you can heal yourself" tom asks as he holds up emily's tail which had a bandage wrapped around the middle of the tail
"umm...2 days, my scratch around my left eye has already half healed as it wasn't a deep scratch but the other deep scratches i have will take about 48 hours to fully heal" emily replies and she looks at her right arm then back at tom
emily then realised the video she watched on the event with her fight and she remembered the part where sebastian just hits buffo with a baseball bat into a angry crowd of people
"oh yeah! you!" emily says and she turns to point to sebastian "vhen did you lean to hit a baseball bat like dat?" she says while looking at sebastian and sebastian just does a weird smirk
"i dunno but...it was a really good hit" sebastian replies as he remembers him hitting buffo with the baseball bat
"hmm...maybe it was your ring dat helped you" emily says as she points to sebastian's ring on his left finger "givin' you the strength to hit buffo as i remember correctly, animatronics are really heavy to move around" she adds and sebastian was looking at his ring as she spoke
sebastian then looks at emily and he smiles looking to be agreeing with emily, emily then realised she was hungry as she felt like her stomach was about to growl and she realised she hadn't eaten since dinner yesterday, she then goes off and makes herself something to eat hoping to forget the whole buffo thing and put it behind her.
