Tris POV
Time flies as I stare at the monitor of the screen, watching the people pass through the hallways. All that is on my mind, though, is Tobias.
His free hand touches my eye, distracting myself from the computer.
"It's 6:00, I should go," he says.
I nod. "Okay."
"Bud!" Tobias speaks up. "I need to take off I'll work overtime tomorrow."
"Okay, yeah that's fine. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Great, thanks," he replies.
He looks down at me with a smile. "I'll see you soon," he says with a wink.
And with that, he's gone.

I fret in front of the mirror, taking a look at my appearance. I'm in a nice black dress that hugs my hips and flares out slightly and ends a few inches above my knees. I take a deep breath as I stare at my reflection.
The dress makes my body look slightly more curvy than it is and for some reason, I look slightly taller in my reflection. My blond hair contrasts against the dress.
I put on minimal makeup, just some lip gloss and mascara, but a little goes a long way.
As I look, I see all the imperfections; my flat chest, my plain hair, my long nose. I shake my head at the mirror, trying to accept all of the flaws and just look at myself the way I am. Everyone has flaws, it's what makes us human. But when I look at people like Christina, Marlene, and Shauna, I can't say I don't get jealous. I wish I was prettier. I wish I had more to offer Tobias.
At times I wonder why he's stayed with me this long when there are so many girl who would be better for him.

I climb over the rocks of the chasm steadily, trying not to fall.
Then I see him, with his back facing me. Tobias sits on a blanket, a black bag next to him.
I take a few more steps over to him and his head faces toward me as he stands up and meets me.
We embrace for a second and he whispers, "You look beautiful."
I look at him. He wears a black button-up shirt that looks nice on him. It's bottom is tucked into the black pants. He looks amazing.
"You look handsome," I say with a wink.
He grins and sits down beside me.
"So what's the occasion?" I ask with a grin.
"No occasion, just us."
He opens up the black bag and in it are two hamburgers and a large slice of dauntless cake.
"Sorry if it tastes funny. I tried to cook the burgers myself."
He hands me a plate with a burger on it. It looks mouthwatering and I honestly could devour it in a few bites if I wanted.
As I sigh my first bite, Tobias stares at me intently. I moan after I swallow it.
"Is it bad?" he asks with a worried face.
I shake my head no.
"I want this burger to become a person. So I can marry it," I say.
"Can I join in on that deal?" he asks with a smile.
"I'm not one for polygamy, sorry."
"Darn it!" he says.
I take another bite and he says, "Just so you know, if that situation ever occurs, I'm in it for you, not the hamburger," he says.
We finish the burgers quite quickly and next thing I know, Tobias takes out the cake.
The butterknife slices it into two pieces. Then, he slides off one half and puts it on a separate plate to give to me.
After I swallow my first bite, I say, "Tobias, this was the perfect date."
He leans forward and presses his lips to mine.
"We should do this more often," he says.
"We should."
His lips meet mine again and this time, the cake if forgotten, delicious as it is. His warm lips move against mine and his arms wrap around my body, holding me against him.
I pull away slowly and our foreheads rest against each other. I lean away and sit fully on the rock again, staring down at the water rushing past my feet. The water tickles my feet as they spray them with water.
Tobias pulled closer to me. I turn my head to him and he's holding up a fork with a piece of cake on it.
His hand pushed forward to put it in my mouth, but then it turns around and he eats it.
I make a face at him.
"Fine," he sighs.
Then he scoops up more cake and gives it to me. I eat it slowly, savoring the chocolatey goodness.
Then, he pulls up another forkful. I open my mouth when it nears my mouth and I ready myself to have another delicious bite, when his hand quickly moves past my mouth. He presses the chocolate cake to my cheek, smearing the fudge in a glob.
"Tobias!"
"Fine. I'll clean it up."
He just smiles and presses his lips to my cheek. His lips slightly move against my cheek, eating the cake.
Then his lips slowly move from my cheek and kiss the corner of my mouth.
"Better?" he asks.
I give him a sly smile and roll my eyes.
