Walking into the apartment, I saw how well Christina had done what I asked. The candles lit the room perfectly. Not too dark, but not too light.

She's even left out two burgers on the counter along with one piece of Dauntless cake and a vanilla shake. I smiled cheekily as I looked over at Tobias. He looked stunned and confused all at the same time.

"How-?" he started to ask.

I answered his question already knowing what he was going to ask. "Christina set it up for us," I explain, trying to hide my giddiness.

He raised his eyebrows, surveying the place. "I give her credit, but it doesn't mean she still isn't a smart-mouth," he teases. Then he sobers up, looking at me. "Beautiful," he says.

I laugh and joke, "The room or me?"

"Both," he murmurs before bringing his head down. He slowly places his hands on my torso and then places me against the wall gently. I smile, feeling his body pressed up against mine. Even through the layers of our clothing, I can feel his strength; it's invigorating.

His eyes pierce me and I can feel the passion in his eyes. It burns a hole through me. It's the same look that melts my resolve and patience. That makes me fall for him a million times over.

He smiles as he presses his lips against mine hard but quickly, almost as if he's daring me to kiss him back. It was extremely tempting and I probably would have taken him up on the offer, had the hamburger's aroma not been more tempting.

"Can we eat first?" I ask him quietly.

"Of course," he nods.

I hadn't realized that we had somehow skipped lunch, but we had. And now it is six o'clock and I am starving. We both devour the meat quickly. Isn't the best the kitchen has made, but it's still edible. When it comes time for Dauntless cake, we decide to share it. I pick up two forks from the drawer and hand on from him. I twiddle with my fork as he gets the first bite.

But he doesn't eat it. Instead he turns the fork to me. I smile as I eat the bite of chocolate. "Mmm," I moan. He stares at me intently with a smile.

"What?" I ask, laughing.

"You got a little something," he says pointing up to his own lips. I laugh, slightly embarrassed, and go to pick up the napkin.

He stops me by putting his hand over mine. "That's a waste of perfectly good chocolate, Tris."

I giggle as he lean forward and kisses me. He smiles boyishly as he sits back, licking his lips.

"You kissed me just for the cake, right?" I ask him, digging my fork into the cake for my own bite. I raise one of my eyebrows as he contemplates his response.

"Totally," he answers.

I roll my eyes as I eat another bite of cake. "What a pity. My own boyfriend loves cake more than me," I tease. Before he can answer, I add, "How are we going to split that shake?"

I nod my head to the shake in front of us. Just one. And there's two of us.

He holds up a finger, "I'll show you."

Sitting up from the chair, he jogs to the counter where he pulls out another straw. He plops it in the shake and announces, "We are going to be the most cliche couple and drink it with two straws."

I laugh and plop another gooey piece of cake in my mouth. Then I lean forward and drink. The vanilla contrasts against the chocolate aftertaste and makes my mouth water.

After the meal, we look around the place. Contrary to this morning when we left, the bed is made. What takes me even more by surprise though, is that she made a make-shift bed with some pillows and a blanket on the floor in front of the couch. It looks incredibly inviting.
