Today is the day after our date, and I wake up to an empty bed noting that Tobias must have already gotten up due to the fact we have to be at work in thirty minutes. I sit up on the bed, my feet dangling off the edge, and run a hand through my hair. I look up and Tobias comes through the door.

"Morning, Tris," he says, entering the room and leaning against the doorframe.

"Morning," I reply with a small smile, pleased with his presence.

"We have to get into work soon," he says.

"Yeah, I know," I sigh. I stand up and cuddle against his warm chest. "But," I say, my lips hover over his, teasing him, "we could just stay in the apartment and not go in."

I don't know where my sudden burst of confidence came from. It might be from the desire of not wanting to go into work. Or it could be something else.

I'm not sure what I heard, but it sounded almost like a low groan emitting from Tobias. "As much as I'd love to take off Tris, I want the weekend free for the two of us."

"Fine," I sigh, relenting. "I'll go get dressed."

I see Tobias's eyes pan down, staring at my bare legs. I'm currently in his T-shirt, which acts as a dress. I usually wear this to bed, but this one is a little smaller on me than the others. Usually, they reach just above my knees, but this shirt ends a few inches low of my butt.

"Yeah," he says, his voice deep. "I'll get us breakfast," he says.

As we walk out of the apartment, I shiver at how cold it is. Tobias seems to notice because he says, "I told you that you should have brought to jacket."

Tobias locks the door with the keys and we walk away.

"Yeah, well, I didn't think it was going to be this cold," I retort.

"It's almost Winter, what did you expect?"

I sigh, annoyed at his reaction to being right. Then, another shiver takes over me and my mouth begins to chatter.

With a heavy breath, Tobias says, "Here take mine."

His jacket comes off and he wraps it around my shoulders.

"Thank you," I say. "But don't you think you'll be cold now?"

"I'll be fine," he says. "It's not that far now."

We reach the control room and I run in, trying to adjust to the heat. It's not that big of a difference, but it'll do.

I hand Tobias his coat back as we sit down adjacent to each other at our computers and say, "Thanks for letting me use it."

"Keep it, Tris. It's still cold."

"You sure?" I ask, apprehensive.

"Yeah, just use it."

When we're finally dismissed, Tobias and I walk side by side back to the apartment. I link our hands, our fingers entwining.

"Oh my gosh. Your hands are freezing."

"Hmm? Yeah I know," he says, smiling down at me.

We reach the apartment and before I let him have an opportunity to open the door, I wrap him in a hug. "You're so cold," I mumble into the thin T-shirt on his shoulder.

"Then keep me warm," he whispers.

His head slowly moves away from mine and lean back. Our bodies are still pressed against each other and his thick jacket covers my tiny body. It's way to big for me.
