Volume 2 Chapter 3: A New Visitor Arrives? An Equivalent Exchange of Life!

The next morning, Zane woke up to find Bunni and Noelle missing from the bed. He stood up and grabbed his bathrobe, before heading to the throne room. As he approached, he heard the faint screams of Bunni and Noelle. He quickly ran over to see what was going on and was relieved to see that it was just those two seeing his parents. He walked over to his two wives and put his arm around them as he looked at them.

Zane: "Is everything alright, my lovelies?"

Bunni: "Zaney, why didn't you tell us those strange intruders from last night were going to be staying here?"

Zane: "Well, I figured you both were sleeping, so you wouldn't need to know? Besides, they are not strangers...they are-..."

Noelle: "Who are they?"

Zane: "They are my parents, Noelle. Those are the people who gave birth to my siblings and myself. Well, the woman gave birth to me but you get the point."

Bunni: "Y-Your parents? That can't be! They died, remember?! Satan said he killed them right before we killed him!"

Zane: "I killed him!"

Noelle: "Regardless, Bunni has a point, Zane. There's no way those two can not be your parents, Satan killed them. Sweetie, I promise we can find a way to get them back to life but...for now we need to get these two impostors out of here."

Zane, with blackened eyes: "Touch them and I will see to it that your entrails will be removed."

Bunni and Noelle would both be taken aback as they had never been threatened by Zane before, let alone in that manor. They looked at him and then back at the people sleeping in the throne room. The two of them nodded and pouted their lips as they silently agreed with Zane to let the two people stay, despite their trepidations. Zane smiled and walked over to his parents and stood besides them as they were holding each other. He leaned over and shook them to wake them up, before giving up and walking away. As he walked away, his parents began giggling and sat up as they looked at him. Zane turned around to see they were still laying down, but when he turned around, he kept his eyes peeking towards them. When he finally saw them sit up, he pointed and smiled.

Zane: "AHA!! I knew you were awake! Nobody can stay asleep when I shake them."

Montgomery: "Well, Zane, me and your mother could barely wait to spend time with you, so we woke up early. But, we couldn't wake you up, since we didn't know where you sleep. So instead, we waited while laying here. After all, We knew you would show up to wake us eventually. But, here we are! We are ready to spend the day with you!"

Claryssa: "Oh, Monty! Where are you manners? Can't you see we are in the presence of new people? Be nice and don't embarrass Zane! After all, who knows if he wants to marry one?"

Zane: "Well, mother...about that..."

Bunni and Noelle stepped forward and bowed as they glared at Zane but smiled at Montgomery and Claryssa. They took turns introducing themselves, and as they decided, Bunni went first.

Bunni: "Hello, both of you. I am Bunni Mirage-Conven! Zane's first, and current, wife! Joined in unholy matrimony. It is nice to finally meet my in-laws."

Noelle: "Greetings, and welcome to Kabara Kingdom! I am Noelle Blackwell-Conven! Zane's second, and current, wife. Married in Holy Matrimony! It is also nice to meet the both of you..."

Claryssa: "Oh my Satan...I can't believe my son has not one, but two wives! Monty, can you believe it?"

Montgomery: "No, Claire. I can't believe it at all. He's grown more than I expected, it feels like just yesterday he was just born."
