Volume 2 Chapter 27: The Gift Of Life! Return of The Bloodline!

Fluorescent smirked as she held Cascade's motionless body in her hands. She slowly started moving her fingers, until Cascade was being only held up by her pinky.

Fluorescent: "Blaze, you should have learned by now. There is no defeating me. And now that I have your attention, let's chat for a moment. Okay?"

She said as Blaze grit his teeth. He started getting enveloped in dark energy as his body started changing from it's usual form... into that of the mystery man who had fought Brooke. The man glared at Fluorescent and tilted his head as he chuckled.

Man: "I'm no longer Blaze. Nor am I Zane. My name... is Ren. Remember the name well, it'll be the name that brings you nightmares."

He said before he disappeared from where he was and appeared in front of her. He watched as she let go of Cascade before he kicked her back and began falling towards where Cascade was. He caught her body and landed on the ground before placing her next to Brooke and John. Ren slowly turned towards Fluorescent, and sighed as he began to change back to Zane. He was breathing heavily as he looked at the woman in front of him.

Zane: "I knew that wasn't going to last... I just needed him to get Cascade away from you! And, he did exactly that."

He said as he took a fighting stance. Fluorescent chuckled wildly before looking down at Blake and then at Maria. She tilted her head before snapping her fingers and bringing them to her. The two of them had completely blank eyes. Like, they were alive and conscious, but whatever life they had before that snap... was completely gone. Fluorescent's face lit up as she made Blake and Maria disappear from where they were, while she looked at Zane. She slowly lowered from the sky and stood across from him as she yawned slightly.

Zane growled before rushing at her and starting to throw punches at her. Fluorescent dodged each punch and looked at him as she hummed to herself. She disappeared and appeared behind him before she kicked him in the face, sending him flying back. She sped towards him and scratched his chest with her nails before sending him crashing into the ground. As he slowly stood up, she crossed her arms and examined the blood and skin that was under her nails.

Fluorescent: "You're starting to bore me Zane. Even Kaguya and her children put up more of a fight when I last saw her. But, nevertheless, I think it's time for me to end your story, here and now. So, say goodbye to your life... and hello to the general of my army."

She said as she whistled loudly from where she stood. Soon, out of the ground a woman came crawling. She had her back to Zane, but Zane knew immediately who it was. He was frozen in shock as he stared at her, before she slowly turned around. Her eyes were full of tears when she saw Zane, her hands coming up and covering her mouth before she shook her head.

Zane: "B-Bunni..."

Bunni: "Zane... I'm so sorry. My love... forgive me... I never... I didn't think..."

Fluorescent: "Bunni, less talking! More killing!"

Bunni: "Yes... lady Fluorescent... I'm sorry, Zane... please kill me... you have to or I'll hurt you..."

Bunni nodded at Fluorescent, as the tears welled in her eyes even more. She held her fingers up towards Zane before closing her eyes.

Zane: "Bunni, stop this! Please... I can't risk hurting you! I don't want to kill you!"

Bunni: "I'm... I'm so sorry, my love...please forgive me..."

She said before she fired a beam of fire at Zane, aiming for his heart. But, from the distance, Jenny heard everything and quickly ran to protect Zane. She grit her teeth and jumped in front of the shot, taking it in her arm, as she fell back down onto the floor, at Zane's feet. She looked at Bunni with a death glare before her attention shifted to Fluorescent. Zane looked at Fluorescent and grit his teeth before he raised his hand and fired an ice beam at her, multiple times. He missed each one as Fluorescent seemed to phase away and back from each shot.
