Volume 2 Chapter 25: Forgiveness...Can You Imagine! What Is Wrong With Her?

It took a bit of walking for Cascade to get Zane to where everyone else was hiding, but she did it. Zane looked at the beaten down shack-like building in the far off corner of the residential neighborhood of the kingdom. It didn't seem too big, so he always passed by it. Especially since the place always seemed to be abandoned. But now, he had no choice but to pay attention to it. So, he closed his eyes and sighed. He slowly attempted to open the door before Cascade shook her head at him. She knocked on the door a few times, in a seemingly random pattern but not too long after, the door was opened and the two of them were brought inside.

Zane looked around and there he saw all three of the Blackwell's. They were scattered across the room, with Noelle being hunched over in a corner near a bucket, while Brooke was sitting next to John on the other side of the room. Zane walked in and closed the door as he took a deep breath. Once Cascade stood by him, he looked at Noelle.

Zane: "Noelle, listen, I-..."

Before he could get his thought out, he realized something was off. He was hearing a total of seven heartbeats, not including his own. There were other people in the house. He clenched his fists and began walking around the house in order to find them, as the others looked on in confusion. Even if he removed the factored in Cascade, that's still three heartbeats too many. There should only be three. One for Noelle, one for Brooke, and one for John. What was happening that there were so many others? Something was off. Extremely off, and he knew it. So, instead of continuing looking, he was going to do something drastic. He stopped in the middle of the room and let out a loud growl before driving his fist through the wall of the house, smashing the concrete wall and leaving a large hole in the middle of it.

Brooke: "ZANE! WHAT THE FUCK?!"

Zane: "Where are they?"

Noelle: "Zane, what do you mean?"

Zane: "The three other people. I hear seven heartbeats and there are four people present. I want to know where the other three are."

Noelle: "Three other-... Zane, I have to tell you something."

Zane: "Where are they?"

Noelle: "Zane... I..."

Zane: "Not until I find them!"

Noelle: "Zane!"

Zane: "WHAT?! I'M TRYING TO MAKE SURE THAT I CAN FIND THESE OTHER HEARTBEATS!"

Noelle: "I'M PREGNANT! The other heartbeats are probably coming from there..."

Zane stood there in silence as he looked at Noelle in shock. She was pregnant?! This... this was already something that was shocking to him. He couldn't believe that she was pregnant... especially after he had just lost Bunni a year ago. There was no doubt that the kids were his but, he had to make sure of how many there were.

Zane: "You... you're having triplets?!"

Noelle: "N-no!"

Cascade: "No, Uncle Zane... Auntie only has one cousin for me."

Zane: "Okay... but there's two other heartbeats not present! So, where could they be coming from?! Unless somebody else in this damned room is pregnant with fucking twins!"

Brooke: "N-no way..."

John: "You're serious?"

Zane, turning to face them: "Brooke... John... what's going on?"

Brooke: "...I'm having twins..."

Cascade: "Little Brothers!"

Zane's face was one of shock for a moment before the shock melted away and he looked off at Noelle. He slowly approached her before holding her hands. He looked off at John and Brooke, who were still shocked before he chuckled and shook his head.
