SOMEWHERE IN THE MINDSCAPE

Zane was walking around the mindscape, as he cried. He kept walking around until his feet began getting swallowed by the ground as he began running. His tears streaming as he tried to escape the pit that was swallowing his body, as he was now knee deep within whatever this goo was. It didn't take long before he was swallowed whole and began falling through a sort of void within the mindscape. It was pure blackness, as he walked around into the void. It didn't take long for him to see someone in the distance. He knew exactly who it was and he ran towards them, before standing behind the person. He cried as he closed his eyes slightly.

Zane: "B-Blaze... are you..."

Blaze: "Zane... tell me it was just a joke..."

Zane: "What do you mean?"

Blaze: "She's not dead, right...? Bunni isn't gone?"

Zane: "Blaze... I'm sorry... she's gone..."

Blaze: "Zane...welcome to the field of memories..."

Blaze began walking away from Zane as the blackness around them began changing. It soon resembled the residential area of Hell. Blaze walked forward before standing in front of the house that had started Zane and Bunni's life.

Blaze: "She was our everything, Zane. She was the reason that I was able to come to fruition... she was the only reason why I decided to show myself to you in the first place. She always showed you ways to better yourself... always pushed you to fix bad behaviors and turn bad habits into good ones."

Inside of the field, a memory began playing out. Bunni and Zane were walking towards the house, holding hands as they looked at the house. It was completely run down, and torn up. Windows were missing... the door was broken in half... and the paint seemed to be chipping away already. Memory Zane stared at the house, before turning around and attempting to storm off, until his arm was grabbed by Memory Bunni.

M. Bunni: "Where do you think you're going, Zane?"

M. Zane: "I'm going to tell Satan that we can't live in this busted up and run down fucking house! It looks like we'd get fucking diseases just touching the damn door!"

M. Bunni: "Zane, you're doing it again! I told you that you can't run away from challenges in life! Maybe this will be your chance to try and awaken your demon! Maybe he hides from you because you give up so easily! Just... do this with me? Let's work together and fix this house. We can paint it however we want... add an extra room or two for when we have friends and stuff come over? I mean... we start our training with the other members of the big four soon, so... we can bring them over for drinks!"

M. Zane: "Ugh! Fine, I guess you have a point. Let's... just get this house fixed up. I guess I'll work on the doors, windows and paint? You can go ahead and see what's going on with the inside? Sound good?"

M. Bunni: "Sounds perfect!"

They began walking into the house before the door collapsed behind them. Memory Zane kicked it out of the house and blew it up before Memory Bunni grabbed his arm and pulled him into the house.

M. Bunni: "Your temper, darling! Work on that, too, even though its hot!"

As soon as they were in the house, the memory began to stop, and they were soon surrounded by pitch black darkness, yet again.

Blaze: "It was shortly after that... when I first appeared to you. You were so scared of me back then for how I looked. I had to appear more dangerous and threatening to you in order to make you fear not giving me control. And the only thing that constantly made me reconsider was Bunni. The first time she saw me, she wasn't afraid. She was happy and delighted to meet me. She hugged me and kissed my cheek with a smile. She told you that you have nothing to fear about me and a week later..."
