Volume 2 Chapter 5: Pieces Fall In Place! The Source Of The Visions!

Akuma: "So, dear brother, it appears our target seems to be searching for his friends. Do you think he will be able to find anyone? Perhaps we should send someone for him to speak to."

Mangetsu: "I refuse, Akuma. The demon prince shall not be given anyone to speak to. If he wishes to speak to anybody, he shall go search for his friends, as we hypothesized before!"

Akuma: "Yes, brother. I will continue to observe the prince through my looking glass. Have you heard from Ashley?"

Mangetsu: "No, Akuma. Ashley has not spoken to us since he acquired the demon's hair. Unfortunately, no trace of him has been found, or seen."

Akuma: "Do you believe he has gone rogue?"

Mangetsu: "He would not dare to cross us, Aku. He knows exactly what will happen to someone who crosses the twin princes of Hell."

After he said that, Ashley would appear within the other dimension. He bowed immediately, and refused to look at the two men standing before him. He took a deep breath and finally spoke to the two kings as he raised his head.

Ashley: "My lieges, I apologize for the long time that I have been gone. I was preparing everything for your arrival, as well as making sure that the deal we had with the broken princess was still going to come to-"

Akuma: "I made sure our deal with the broken princess was going to go smoothly, Ashley. Please, refrain from lying to us about your whereabouts."

Ashley: "Yes, Lord Akuma. I did not lie about getting preparations ready. I made sure that there was a safe place in the Mortal Realm for you and Lord Mangetsu to come back to. I have sacrifices ready as well. That was you can easily allow yourself to get flesh bodies in order to wreak more havoc on the material plane!"

Mangetsu: "I see. Well, Ash, whilst you were busy getting those preparations ready, we took matters into our own hands. We not only sent a warning in order to make the Kabaran's nervous, we also stopped by our old home. We decided to pick up some souvenirs."

As he said that, he stepped to the side to reveal a group of people all tied up, but separated from each other. Rosemary and Carrie Conven, as well as Beatrixe Leecher. Rosemary was crying and it looked like Carrie was beaten, hurt badly. She was bleeding from all over.

Mangetsu: "We also used these souvenirs to see how the Demon King would react. From the looks of things, he is not very happy with the fact that we have invaded his bubble! His safe space, if you will. The poor dear said he was going to go looking for his friends. Since his mommy and discount daddy left his bubble, he needed a new escape. I don't doubt that when he sees his friends are missing, he will be throwing a temper tantrum. I hate to say it but, this conquest might be the easiest we have ever taken. Wouldn't you agree, Aku?"

Akuma: "Yes, brother. I do believe this conquest might be easy. I have gathered information on the potential threats. So far, only the demon king and his two wives may be any sort of issue for us. The princess of Kabara has just given birth and her baby daddy is... unclear to be a threat. However, I do say we should not take our opponents lightly, brother. After all, that is the thing that got us into the mess we are in currently. I fear the worse might happen if we happen to get too cocky once again."

Mangetsu's eyes flashed a deep red the moment Akuma said that before he walked in front of him. Akuma's eyes lit up with fear before Mangetsu's hand swung and hit directly across Akuma's face. Akuma was sent sprawling onto the floor as he held his face while staring at his brother. A single word falling from his lips.

Akuma: "Why?"

Mangetsu: "How DARE you bring up that day?! Do you honestly believe that I would allow myself to make such a mistake again? The issue with that day wasn't that I underestimated him...and it wasn't because I was over confident in my abilities! What happened that day was merely a fluke. I had a moment of hesitation over something very small! I assure you, it is not going to happen again, dear brother. So do NOT bring that day up to me when you were the one who died first! He killed YOU before he could even manage to get a single hit on me! YOUR DEATH was the only thing that caused MINE! Do you understand me Akuma?!"
