Chapter 34: It All Ends Here! Say Goodbye Everyone!

That night, Noelle couldn't sleep at all. She sat up in her bed for a while, before she began walking around the castle halls. As she walked around she found something interesting, in the courtyard. It looked like shadows were passing by outside. Thinking it was Rosalina or Raymond, who had disappeared earlier that day, Noelle went outside. She was surprised to have seen John outside, speaking to hooded figures.

John: "...based on the data I have gathered, they all should be asleep by now. Kill the blonde and the castle will be yours."

Female voice: "Very good, my dear puppet. Zane successfully killed Satan, and returned home. Now, we can finally rule over all realms. Between here and hell, we will be unstoppable. You are free to go, puppet."

Male voice: "Yes, indeed. However, it appears we have company at the moment. Let's handle that."

He says pointing at Noelle, who assumed a quick fighting stance. The two beings eyes glowed red and yellow before they disappeared, leaving her scared and confused. She looked at John, who appeared to be catatonic before pulling him by the ear and ringing an alarm bell in the castle. This woke everyone up and had them show up to the throne room, where Brooke saw John in his catatonic state drooling at the mouth. She walked over and snapped her fingers, trying to snap him out of it. When she got no results, she turned to everyone else and sighed. Beatrixe approached and looked in his eyes before sighing and looking at everyone else in the room.

Beatrixe: "He's been or is being compelled by someone or something. And, I know for sure it wasn't me so that leaves Rosemary, the deceased Puny...Maria...or Raymond and Rosalina."

Rosemary: "Couldn't be me. I was sleeping in the hallway, trying to hide from Carrie since I'm still mad at her."

Carrie: "I can confirm this is true."

Noelle: "I know it wasn't Ma-..."

Brooke, bluntly: "We know it couldn't have been mother! So it's either Rosalina or Raymond."

Zane: "Or both...what if they were only using us this whole time? Think about it...they had their own plan which never involved us and when they tried to pass it onto us, they were shutdown. What if they wanted Satan out of they way for their own gains...and now they want the rest of Kabara too? They could have taken John as an informant of sorts for...who knows how long, and gotten some information about us. What do you think?"

Brooke: "Those...two...will...pay..."

Noelle: "Brookie?"

Brooke: "We can't do anything for now. Place guards inside and outside of the castle walls and gates. John is to be kept on 24/7 surveillance when he is not in my company. Do I make myself clear, sister?"

Noelle: "Brooke...are you sure?"

Brooke: "Did I stutter or falter?!"

Zane: "Brooke, let's not be hasty!"

Brooke: "I'm sorry....are you not the guy who just nearly flash froze us all because your wife died in front of you?! You are the last person who should be saying that."

Noelle: "Brooke, that was uncalled for! I will put him under watch, but you need to watch your temper! Take him and go to your room!"

Brooke: "You wouldn't understand, Noelle! You're not pregnant..."

Noelle, in shock: "Y-You...have no real reason to leverage that against me, Brooke?"

Brooke, surprised she said it: "I didn't mean it..."

Noelle: "So...now that the cat is out of the bag...how long were you going to hide this from me?"

Brooke: "I do not know. But...I was...going to hide it during the fight with Satan..."
