Chapter 6 - A Game Of Truth Or Dare

After what seemed like forever, we finally reached home and I got off. Again my knees wobbled but I forced myself to stay standing.

Mason opened the front door and we all ran in and towards the back to the pool.

I felt so sticky from the salt water and hurried to the pool. I took off my clothes, revealing my bikini and slipped off my sandals.

I dived into the pool and swam underwater. I heard someone else jump into the pool. I came up for air and saw that Lexi had joined me. Mason came diving in and after a lot of coaxing, Austin finally came in.

James jumped in and pulled Alex along with him.

We were now all in the pool. "Truth or dare!" Lexi cheered and I glared at her.

"Yes lets do it!" Austin chimed in. I groaned. I did not like where this was going.

Mason ran to get the pool truth or dare.

Finally we were all settled and the game began. At first, it was just small dares and truths.

Then it landed on me.

"Truth or dare?" Lexi asked me.

"Truth." I replied nervously.

"Have you had your first kiss already?" Lexi asked with a smirk.

I thought a little. "No." I answered and blushed.

Lexi's eyes widened and Austin started coughing. I felt my face burning up.

Next was my turn. It landed on James. "Truth or dare?" I asked him.

"Dare." He answered with confidence.

"I dare you to.... Kiss Alex." I challenged him.

Alex turned to me with a death glare and I knew I had it coming. But she went in for the kiss and I was sure, it wasn't her first kiss. They pulled apart after a few seconds and Alex blushed a deep red as she nervously cleared her throat.

The game continued. It wasn't long before Austin dared Mason to kiss Lexi. They did it willingly but not before Lexi gave Austin a knowing look.

After a few more dares, it was Lexi's turn. It landed on Austin and she smiled, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Truth or dare?" She asked him. "Dare." He answered.

My heart started thumping against my chest.

"Austin, I dare you to ..." Lexi paused and then started over. "I dare you to kiss Ruthelia Summers."

I gasped and stared at Lexi. She simply smirked and motioned to Austin. I slowly turned to him and my mouth turned dry. I could not be having my first kiss with the annoying bad boy.

Austin moved closer to me and I blinked rapidly, licking my dry lips self consciously.

He leaned in and my heart started beating faster then it ever had.

His lips met mine and I closed my eyes, wrapping my arms around his neck as he placed his one hand on my cheek.

Fireworks exploded in my brain and I got lost in the kiss. His soft lips were all I could think about. After what seemed forever, he pulled away and we stared into each others eyes.

Mason cleared his throat and I averted my gaze, blushing.

Lexi floated in the water with a smirk on her face and I splashed her. She coughed and sputtered and turned to me with a glare.
