Song: -Stronger- by Kelly Clarkson
Sunday:
-Ruth-
I groaned and rolled over to my side as I lay there, half asleep. My stomach was churning and I felt nauseous.
As if on cue, I felt the strong need to puke and scrambled out of bed, feebly running to the bathroom.
Bending over the toilet, I hurled everything out until I was empty. I was surprised to feel someone hold up my hair and by looking to the side, I knew it was Austin.
I stood up on wobbly feet and walked to the sink, brushing my teeth furiously, ridding the bitter taste out of my mouth.
"You okay?" Austin asked, lightly touching my chin.
"No. I'm getting a very unpleasant headache." I groaned and slowly walked to the bedroom. I was startled to see Emily and Alex sleeping in my room. Emily on the couch and Alex on a mat on the floor.
"Ow my head." I moaned and fell unto the bed, face first. "Austin please get me some pills or I'm gonna die right here." I commanded, lifting my head slightly and crashing it back down on the bed.
I heard him running downstairs, rummaging through drawers and then coming back inside. Just as he came back, Alex stood up and ran to the bathroom. I grimaced and held my ears shut at the horrible sound.
Emily got up too and raced to our other bathroom and I sighed.
Austin handed me the pills and a cup of water and I quickly popped the pills into my mouth, taking a huge gulp of water.
"I'm gonna die." I groaned as my headache worsened. The pills weren't kicking in yet and for me, headaches were really bad after drinking. (Not that I drink much but just when I'm in pain and need to forget something.)
"Here, let me help." Austin touched my shoulder and I turned over unto my back. He placed his hands on my forehead and moved his fingers in soothing circles.
When that didn't help, I had to chuckle at his failed attempt. He smirked and brought his lips to my forehead, lightly kissing it. I froze and stared at him as he pulled away. "Did that help?" He asked, his smirk still stuck on his face.
"Uh.. I.. well.." I stuttered and mentally facepalmed myself. He chuckled and I blushed furiously. "You're so mean." I whined and turned over, burying my face in my pillow.
"You know, I really think you should change out of this dress. It kinda flies up sometimes and.. you know I can see... Ouch!" He cried as I slapped him hard over the back.
"Shut up." I retorted, my face turning hot.
"Make me." He smirked and winked at me.
"What?! No! Austin you have a really dirty mind sometimes." I muttered and got up.
"Actually, you do. I never said how you should shut me up." He laughed and got up too.
"Are you serious right now?" I mumbled and took out a set of clothes, walking into the bathroom.
I stared at the horrifying face in the mirror. Quickly, I washed off the rest of my makeup and changed into jeans and a tank top. I grimaced at my pounding head and held my hand to my hot forehead.
"I understand your pain." A voice said from the corner and I shrieked, jumping back against the door, banging my already sore head unto the wood.
"Alex! I didn't need more pain." I cried out and glared at her.
"Im never drinking again." She mumbled and I laughed inwardly. Like I knew her, she would drink today evening again if she could.
She got up and opened the bathroom door, slowly walking out. I grimaced and stumbled out of the bathroom. "What the hell happened in there?" Austin asked.
