-Author's note-
"Hey guys. Just so you know, this chapter is kind of continued from the last one! :) :) Enjoy!! :D
(Picture attached is our dear Alexandria. :-)"I reached home 10 minutes later. Walking inside, I saw Abigail and Mason sitting at the table eating a snack.
Our house was really tidy, and no boxes stood around. Which meant that Mom had been really busy.
I grabbed a bag of Doritoes out of the cupboard and joined them at the table.
"So how was your day?" Mason asked me.
"It was great." I answered. "I even have a date tomorrow." I added, grinning.
"Ah so on your first day of school, you're already going after guys," Mason teased.
I laughed and answered, "Nope they're going after me." I winked. He rolled his eyes.
I turned to Abigail. "And how was your day?" I asked.
She smiled brightly. "It was great. I have a friend, Chelsea. She's my age and she loves soccer just as much as me. She is also coming over in half an hour."
I grinned. "That's great Abby. By the way, where's Mom?"
"Probably in the guest room." Abigail answered.
I muttered a thanks and ran upstairs. I opened the guest bedroom door slowly and saw Mom making up the bed with her back turned to me. I crept up silently behind her.
"Boo!" I yelled and she shrieked, jumping up. I chuckled. "Hey Mom!"
"Don't scare me like that." she scolded playfully.
I grinned and sat down on a recliner and watched her finish making up the bed.
She sat down on the edge of the bed. "So how was your day?"
"It was great. Except our neighbor boy loved annoying me and making me mad." I scowled at the thought of him.
Mom chuckled. "Well just so you know, they invited us over for dinner today."
My eyes widened. "You didnt say yes, did you?"
"Of course I did. They are nice and I would love to get to know his mom better since she doesnt have a husband either." Mom replied.
I scowled darkly. "Great, just great." I muttered and walked to my room.
I closed my door and flopped unto my bed. "Why oh why do we have to go there for dinner?" I muttered.
"Ah come on Babe. It'll be fun." a voice said and I shrieked. Austin was leaning against my closet door, smirking.
I grabbed a pillow and threw it at him but he caught it and threw it right back into my face.
"What the hell are you doing in my room?" I yelled.
He chuckled. "Just thought I'd come see your room." He answered and opened my clothes drawer.
I jumped off the bed and smacked his hand, closing the drawer firmly. "Get out!" I shouted and pointed to the balcony.
He started walking towards the balcony and I sighed in relief. He instead changed directions and headed to my desk. Grabbing up my diary he opened the book. I gasped and lunged at him, tripping me and him both and I landed on top of him.
I breathed deeply as I stared into his blue eyes. He smelled so good. I wondered what cologne he was using.
I shook my head. I could not be having these thoughts right now. I glared at him and reached for my diary but he only held it further away.
