A/N:
Song: "Tonight I'm Getting Over You" by Carly Rae Jepsen.
I thought the song matched the chapter perfectly. ;-)

-Ruth-

I woke up with the most heaviest feeling in my stomach. Suddenly it all came rushing back. Me going to Randy's house, finding him with Nicole, running to the park, sobbing, Austin comforting me.

I gulped and held back the tears as depression overtook. I had been cheated on, by the one I was in love with.

Standing up, I looked back at Austin to make sure he was still asleep. I grabbed my phone off the nightstand and tiptoed out of the room.

I opened the door to my room and stepped in, closing it behind me. I walked over to the bathroom and started filling the bathtub with hot water.

Undressing, I climbed in and sank into the water. I stared into space, reliving the scenes of yesterday. My eyes filled with unshed tears as I remembered walking into Randy's room.

I slowly climbed out and wrapped a towel around me, staring at myself in the mirror. My eyes had dark circles underneath and my hair were tousled, resembling a bird's nest.

I changed into a loose long sleeved black t-shirt and flannel pants and sat down on the bed with my knees drawn up to my chest, staring through blurry eyes at the pictures of me and Randy on the wall.

-Austin-

I stretched and yawned, sitting up. I noticed Ruth was no longer in my room and I frowned.

Standing up, I quickly put on a shirt and pants before walking out of the room and downstairs.

Mason was sitting at the table with a bowl of cereal when I came down. He glanced at me and set down his spoon. "So any idea what happened?" He asked.

"Good morning to you too. Nope no idea. She wasn't in my room anymore." I answered and poured myself a cup of coffee before sitting down at the island.

"Dude you gotta check up on her then." Mason replied.

I nodded and stood up, pouring her a cup of coffee and quickly made a sandwich for her.

I walked upstairs and found her in her room, sitting on the bed. Laying my hand gently on her shoulder, I sat down beside her and handed her the plate and cup.

She shook her head and pushed it away.

"Ruth you gotta eat." I insisted, shaking her arm slightly.

She stared at the wall and I sighed. "Atleast drink." I held the cup to her.

She pushed it away and glanced at me. I winced at the sight of her bloodshot eyes.

"Can you tell me what happened?" I asked softly, as a tear rolled slowly down her cheek. When she made no move to reply, I sighed in defeat and stood up. Setting the coffee mug on the desk, I walked out, shut the door and made my way downstairs.

-Ruth-

I didn't know what happened to me. I wasn't one to cry. I had like never cried in my life except by close deaths. Now, it felt like the tears were like rain. I felt numb.

"Ruth?" Keicy asked as she peeked into the door. She came walking in slowly and stood before me, staring into my eyes. "Ruth, are you crying?" She asked fearfully and grabbed my hands, shaking them slightly.

I didn't answer and what happened next made my tears fall freely. She wrapped her tiny arms around me in a hug. Giving me a reassuring smile, she hopped off the bed and skipped out of the room.
