Monday:
-Ruth-
Placing my skateboard on the rack, I looked around and smiled. I was in a great mood, even though it was Monday.
Heading to my locker, I noticed Alex leaning against it, staring at someone.
"Who you lookin at?" I whispered in her ear and she jumped, glaring at me.
"I'm watching the new kid." She answered and I followed her gaze. My jaw dropped as I stared at the guy standing there, leaning against the lockers, playing on his phone.
"Wow." I breathed and blinked rapidly. The guy was hot. Really hot. Though not as hot as Austin. 'Wait what the hell? Stop comparing the hot guy to Austin, you idiot.' I scolded myself and shook my head, pushing Alex away from my locker.
"So why are you staring at him?" I probed, causing her to glance at me with a smirk. "I was thinking, you and him would make a good match." She answered slowly and I snickered. "Ha! That's funny!" I laughed and slammed the locker shut. Turning around, I bumped into a wall. Wait let me correct that, I bumped into a guys chest that felt like a wall.
"Hey Princess." Austin greeted me and I glared at him. "You always stand some place where I'll be sure to crash into you." I huffed and tucked a curl behind my ear. I had actually thought I had bumped into the new guy.
"Now that you say it, I kinda do!" Austin said with a smirk and I rolled my eyes.
"Move." I commanded and scowled when he didn't obey. Giving him a hard push on his shoulder, I brushed past him.
The bell rang and I hurried towards class. Sitting down in my seat, I watched as the new guy slowly walked in and looked around, choosing a seat in the back, right beside mine, which had been empty until now.
He sat down in the seat and held out his hand towards me. "Hey. I'm Ethan."
I smiled and shook his hand. "I'm Ruthelia. Nice to meet you."
Instead of letting go of my hand, he pulled me forward and I sat down with a thump on the floor.
"Oops, sorry my bad." He chuckled and I scowled at him. "I take my last words back." I answered angrily and swatted his hand away when he tried to help me up.
Sitting down in my seat again, I ignored Ethan for the rest of the class.
"Ruthelia. Sugar. Sweetpea. Please say something." He whined and I gritted my teeth, gripping my pencil. When the bell rang, I stood up and ran out of the door, hoping Ethan wouldn't follow.
Opening my locker, I placed my books inside. I sighed while taking my algebra book. I simply did not like algebra.
Closing the locker, I came face to face with Ethan, who was leaning against the locker beside mine. My eyes widened before a scowl came over my face.
"Go away." I commanded and he smirked. "Sweetpea, you know I won't do that."
"What kind of a name is that? Sweetpea." I scoffed and started walking away.
"Wait!" he shouted, running after me.
"Rolling my eyes, I turned around. "What?!" I huffed angrily.
"Just wanted to let you know, your ass is really cute." He winked and I scowled at him before swiftly walking away.
-----------------------------------------
"He is soo annoying!" I whined to Alex and Emily as I jabbed my fork into the meat.
