"How do I look?" I asked, twirling around for Emily."Really hot. Like the weather." She wiped her forehead dramatically and I laughed, eyeing myself in the mirror.
"Well yea, that's why we're going to the beach." I answered, turning to her.
"Yea it's pretty awesome that Brittney's parents let her use their beach house."
"I think I packed everything." I decided, zipping my backpack shut.
"Hey Babe." Austin greeted me as he came into my room. "Ready to go?"
"Oh yea." I smiled, kissing him before picking up my backpack.
We were going to the beachhouse for a vacation, for 3 nights and I couldn't be more ready.
"How much more tan will you get now?" Austin teased as he followed me downstairs.
"I hope not too much." I answered wryly, opening the bottom kitchen cupboard, taking out some Oreo cookies.
"Hey!" Mom called out and I jumped, quickly straightening up.
"Ruthelia Summers! You're taking my Oreo Cookies!" She exclaimed.
"Let me have three packs." I begged, holding them up.
Austin chuckled from behind Mom and I glared at him.
"One." Mom answered and I shook my head, putting one back.
"Two."
"Deal."
"Yay! Thank you." I grinned and stuffed the packs into my purse.
"Now you guys be good." She warned and I rolled my eyes, waving at her.
"Ruth are those my earrings?" Mom yelled after me when I was almost to the car.
"Bye Mom! Love you too!" I called back and she huffed, going back into the house.
"You two resemble each other so much." Austin remarked and I shrugged, closing the car door.

By the time we reached the beach, it was dark, since we had left home pretty late, plus we stopped on the way to eat.
"Wow, this beachhouse is awesome." I breathed as I looked around the elegant place.
"Yea, my parents had some good workers." Brittney agreed.
Austin wrapped his arms around my waist from behind and kissed my neck softly. "Me and you are sleeping together tonight." He murmured and I smiled, resting my head back against his shoulder. "Sounds awesome." I answered with a light laugh.
"You left your backpack on the car." Lexi informed me as she held it up.
"Which is our room?" I asked, taking the backpack and glancing at Brittney.
"Second bedroom upstairs." Brittney answered and I nodded. "Ok then I'll carry my backpack in there."
Austin followed me to the room with his bag and I opened the door, looking around.
"Pretty awesome." I remarked, setting my backpack on a shelf.
"Yea, they did seriously good." Austin agreed, wrapping his arms around my stomach from behind.
