-Austin-

"Bingo!" Emily shouted as she finished the game of pool, beating James.

"Why are the girls so good at this?" He muttered and frowned.

"All the girls except me." Alex reminded him and took a drink of her soda.

I grinned and glanced at Ruth, who was lazily playing a game on her phone. "Babe, want a drink?" I asked her and her eyes shot up towards mine. A slow smile spread across her face. "I'll take a shot of coconut rum, honey." She answered, a teasing smile on her face.

I poured her a shot and gave it to her, kissing her cheek lightly.

She drank it in one gulp and set the cup down firmly on the table. She looked at me with a smug look and I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Hey guys!" Lexi greeted us and I grinned, winking at her as she and Mason walked in.

"So Ruth, Austin told me. Ahh such exciting news!" She squealed and Ruth blushed, tilting her face away from me.

"Ah Lexi, leave my girlfriend in peace." I teased her and she rolled her eyes, motioning Mason over to the pool table. "Since we missed all the fun, lets see who wins this game." She smiled deviously at him and he narrowed his eyes at her, flashing a smirk in return.

-Ruth-

"Thanks again Em for the awesome party!" I smiled, giving her a hug.

"Aww no problem Chica. I wanted to do it." She smiled back and I waved as I followed Austin to his car.

He was carrying me home. Lexi was staying over at my house for the night and she went with Mason already. I had a slight feeling something was going on between them. I'm just kidding, I have a big feeling.

I shook my head to clear my thoughts and watched as Austin climbed into the car. He started the car and I leaned my head against his shoulder. I knew I was kinda all over the place but I didn't care.

Everytime I took a breath, his cologne waved over me and I had the strong urge to bury my face in his shirt. Cause damn, his cologne smelled amazing.

"You zone out a lot." Austin remarked as he glanced down at me.

"Yea, I guess so." I said, but smiled up at him.

I slouched down in my seat as Austin pulled up to his house.

"Wanna come to my house for a little bit?" I asked as as he opened the car door for me.

"Sure. I already thought of it, that's why I parked my car here." He winked at me and linked his hand in mine, leading me carefully over my yard.

I fumbled with the doorknob and finally got the house door open.

"I wonder if Mason's home already." I mused as I went to the side door to look into the garage.

"Is he?" Austin asked and I nodded, walking over to the kitchen.

"You hungry?" I offered, and he shook his head. "No not really. I had some snacks over there." He answered and I nodded. "Ok I guess we can go up to my room then."

I halted in my steps, just inside my room and raised an eyebrow at Lexi, who was merrily dancing around in my room.

Her eyes widened and she quickly stood still, her cheeks turning a rose red.
