Prologue (A Dire Situation)

It was the hottest day, I'm sure of it. I laid in my room, ac on full blast and a freeze spell to try and make things colder. Even though it was really hot I still had to get up and get ready for school. I knew that today was gonna be a long day when I remembered that today we had sparring activities today

Y/N: "Ugh, I hope I get a good partner. At least it's Friday."

I got dressed and headed downstairs for breakfast,

Mom: "Good Morning!!!!"

"Hey Mom, what's for breakfast." I said while I was putting on my backpack.

"Well, I need to go shopping later for groceries so there's only eggs and bacon." Mom said.

"Hopefully they have that new game that came out, I really want to play it after school." I said as I was eating.

Soon my Dad and older brother and sister came downstairs, also ready for their daily work of the day. As we all got ready to leave, I made sure to bring my mask.

At the school

As me and my older siblings got to school we decided to meet up at lunch to study for exams that were coming up in a few days. As the morning bell rang we all went our separate ways to get to class, I was the least excited since I have PE first thing in the morning. As we all got into our uniforms and protective gear, we got into positions and started our morning sparring.

Around 100 to 110 years ago some scientist discovered a way to harness the "energy" around yourself allowing you to make it take shape and form "spells", "techniques", and other useful ways to manipulate the "energy" when I first learned about it, it reminded me a lot about anime, the energy and powers part. Since in reminded of anime I decided to try and manipulate the energy in the same way that anime's do. It didn't go so well.

Anyways I decided to try the anime merging again and it somehow worked as I was able to enhance my body with "increased mobility" and do a triple kick to my opponents left side leaving him open on the right for me to speed blitz him and fire off a "flame shot" on him knocking them to the ground. As easy as it sounded, it was not since "supportive skills" was something we barely learned a week ago in class. Either way I was glad that I finished quickly. Going through my next 4 classes was so slow I though someone had put a spell on the world. Since lunch was next I met up with my siblings and we all started to get ready for our midterm exams.

Little did I know, we were never going to take the exams. All I remember was that my older sister was helping me get to our parents car while my brother finished helping our friends put, luggages? Into their cars. We were on our way to the local mountain range where I had forgotten that the scenery was amazing but all my fascination was brought to an end when I realized that we were infront of what seemed like a bunker enough to fit our family and all our friends' families but where was everyone else? As we reached the entrance I was being rushed inside and into a room in the back with a name, "CRYO CHAMBER". I was being put into a pod of some sort and before closing the hatch my family gave me a goodbye, I never realized it was our final time together until it was to late.

Dad: "Y/N, promise us that whatever happens you'll always do what's good and that you'll survive, for us."

They gave me kiss on the head before letting my siblings say their goodbyes.

Sister: "We know that we haven't always been there for you but we wanted you to know that we always cared for you, and that we wanted you to become the very best that there ever was."

We laughed at the Pokemon joke but I soon heard a hissing noise and noticed that it was getting colder. They finished their goodbye's and that was when I realized it.

There was only one pod...

I began to cry and started banging on the window, but I was getting weaker as time went on. Soon the last thing I saw was a monitor outside of the pod showing what was happening outside of the bunker, it was my family and infront of them, was a massive wave of water charging towards them, as it reached them my eyes began to close but not before I saw my family using everything the had to freeze the water. It failed. And soon after, I fell into a deep sleep. One that I wouldn't wake up from until 12,000 years later...
