"Failure is a part of the road to success.
Even if it is harsh."

As the time is nearing afternoon, a certain group of inklings are just waking up.

Topaz: "Ahhhmmm~ Hm? Where am I?"

I woke up to Callie sprawled out on top of my legs and Marie, with the others still sleeping away.

Ah, that's right, we all stayed here for the night so that we could extend our practices longer.

We had practiced Energy control and the spells that were written in the book for the rest of the day yesterday and had fallen asleep some time in the morning.

Man, I rea~lly want to go back to sleep... But I also want to try out my new spells!

I quickly got up without waking anyone else and tiptoed my way outside of the Cuttlefish Cabin.

I went over to where we had put our equipment and gear and grabbed my Battery before heading to the open area nearby.

I activated the Battery and remembered what the book had mentioned...

"Relax your body, take deep breaths in and out..."

"Then focus on yourself and your surroundings and take the Energy into your body..."

As Topaz concentrated, the Energy coming from the Battery began to flow towards Topaz as she absorbed it.

As I focused, I could feel the Energy flowing, it felt dense but light at the same time.

As I absorbed enough Energy from the Battery I turned it off and readied myself.

Topaz held her hand out as the Energy inside her began to change and take on the shape of a blade, made out of water.

I decided to create the one spell that Y/N always seemed to use, Water Blade.

"This is so cool! It feels so light and actually looks sharp!"

I decided to swing it around for practice when I looked over at the rocks nearby.

Topaz held the Water Balde with both hands and swiftly cut deep into the rock.

"I wonder..."

Topaz then saw a nearby boulder and made her way over.

When close enough, she placed the Blade on her side and got into a lower position.
Similar to your move against the Octo Samurai.

Taking a deep breath, Topaz lunged at the boulder and swiftly brought out her Water Blade from her side, as if unsheathing it.
