Time was no longer on any side, a race against each side was happening.
Marina Ida, Pearl H. Hozuki, and Danica May
Vs.
Calex Peck
"Remember what we said? Don't underestimate us!" Pearl exclaimed.
As Calex began to climb out of the wall he was thrown into
The trio he was fighting had began to infuse Energy into their weapons and utilize on themselves.
Danica: "Remember you two, he has distance over us. Keep pressure on him and don't let up!"
Pearl and Marina nodded in response as Pearl and I stood on both sides of Marina.
"Well go with another pincer attack!" Marina ordered.
Pearl and Danica infused Energy into their bodies before launching themselves forward, zigzaging until they were both on either side of Calex.
Readying their dualies, they prepared to fire but couldn't.
"Don't think..." Calex spat out.
He grabbed the two by the shoulder before lifting them into the air.
"YOU CAN MESS WITH ME!!!" He shouted.
Calex proceeded to slam both girls into the ground with all his strength, creating a hole for each of them.
But before he could do anymore damage, Marina rushed in and launched the cover piece of her brella forward, forcing him to dodge and fall back.
"Are you two alright?!" Marina worried.
"Nothing much to worry about 'Rina." Pearl said while stretching her back.
"This armor's pretty durable, seems we can tank some damage from him at least." I realized.
Even though he has the range advatnage he still chose to attack us up close. But that'll be his downfall...
Without saying anything, Danica moved in and attacked Calex, the two fighting as Pearl and Marina were left behind.
"Oi! Danica we have to stick together!" Marina warned.
Before Danica could realize her mistake, Calex placed his hand on her arm and created an explosion on contact.
He caught me off guard, I'd forgotten about the fact they could also use Energy and paid the price. I fell back as Pearl caught me, helping me up.
"Hey! We're in this together Danica! Don't you go running in without us, ya hear?!" Pearl said, snapping Danica back into reality.
