The morning sun pierces through the cracks of the curtains and brightens the room, waking up a sleeping Y/N.
Y/N: Hmm... Morning... Ugh...
I got up from the couch stretching and yawning before looking around the room.
I guess the others are still sleeping, I don't think Topaz would mind if I used the bathroom.
I made my way to the bathroom and locked the door before taking off my mask and headband, changing my ears and hair back to normal.
Hmmm, my hair's gotten a bit longer, I should probably do something about that.
I decided to use the shower but turned it on to see that it was water.
Hm? I thought they can't touch water or else they die? Or maybe during their evolution, they gained the ability to walk and stay on land but in return lost the ability to be in water. But if they can take showers, I guess they have a certain limit to how much water their bodies can withstand.
Haaa~ this is too much to think about, especially in the morning.
I decided to put my thoughts to the side and take a shower before anyone else could wake up.
After finishing up I put my clothes back on and decided to tie back my hair before putting on my mask and headband, changing my hair into tentacles and making my ears just as long and pointy as everyone else.
Making my way back to the living room, my stomach began rumbling.
"I guess I can make something to eat real quick..."
As you went to the kitchen and began to prepare food to make, the noise was enough to wake up Marie.
Marie: Mmm... Loud...
I got up from the bed yawning and stretched as I noticed Callie sprawled out on the bed and taking up most of it.
No wonder I felt cramped.
Climbing over Callie and making my way over to the door, I heard noises coming from the other side of the door and down the hall.
Y/N must be awake, I wonder if he's making breakfast again.
I opened the door and walked down the hall, as I got close to the couch in the living room I saw Y/N in the kitchen.
"Morning Y/N." I said while yawning.
"G'morning Marie, did ya sleep well?" Y/N asked.
"Well other than the fact that Callie took up the whole bed I'd say I slept pretty well."
As Marie answered, you turned around as you finished up cooking and placed the food on the table.
It consisted of salmon, fried eggs, toast, orange juice, and apple juice.
As you were putting plates and cups on the table you looked over and saw Marie with a look of astonishment.
