Chapter 4: A Plan And A Reunion

I'm going to put actions that characters do in italics. Ex. Y/N put the gear on and headed outside. Hopefully this will help, and make things easier for me.

Somewhere near Inkopolis Square, an Octoling finds interesting news...

???: I decided to look on the web for anything that seemed interesting to talk about. I didn't find anything so I decided to put my computer skills to work and try and find anything good that was taken off of SeaFeed.

Btw, I don't know if they have an equivalent to Youtube, so I'm going to call it, Seafeed.

A minute later, an Inkling walks in with a paper bag

???: "oh hey Pearl, did you go to the Crust Bucket?"

Pearl: "Yeah, but they didn't have the Galactic Seanwich, so I got you a Crusty Seanwich instead Marina."

Marina: "that's alright. Oh! I almost forgot, I found a video that was uploaded to the web but was taken down only minutes after, you want to watch it with me?"

Pearl: "Sure, we don't have anything else to do for a while."

Marina: As Pearl and I wondered why a video was taken down, it started with a view of an Inkling who looked tired and scared, he then turned the camera and showed that there was a fight between a tall figure and 3 Octoling. The entire video was just the tall figure dominating, not taking a single hit, even up close. But what made the video crazier was that the tall figure was not using any ink based weapon, but instead shot water out of the tip of their fingers.

When the video was over, me and Pearl just sat there shocked at what we found, if the reason why it was taken down was because of the mysterious tall figure, then that would be a good reason. If the video had gotten out to the public, there would be a craze over how something was able to shoot water from their fingers. Pearl decided that we should keep this between ourselves, but she still let me go ahead and dig deeper into the video.

Looks like I have a lot of work ahead of me...

Meanwhile Y/N has just woken up from their sleep and head to inform Jade of what has happened

Y/N: I went over to where Jade was at which was in the garden, I wanted to tell her about everything that I saw and found outside of the bunker so that we could form a plan.

Enter Y/N, Jade notices him as she watches over the plants...

Y/N: "Hey Jade, how are the plants doing?"

Jade: "They're doing well, in about 2 days, we should be able to see some produce, although small, it means that we can have a sustainable food source. That reminds me, while outside how did everything go? Was there anything interesting outside?"

Y/N: "Well that's what I wanted to tell you. First was that the weather and climate are fairly normal, quite refreshing even, secondly, there was a forest at the base of the mountain range, and lastly..."

"We're not alone here."

Jade: "What do you mean? Is there a new dominant species?"
