I stare blankly through the bars surrounding me.
I can see the light seeping out of the open door.
The second my hand reaches toward the door, it slams shut.
I whirl around furiously to face my captor.
"Why do you keep me here?"
My reflection stares blankly back at me.
I angrily punch the mirror, blood dripping down my hand.
I turn to walk the other way, only to see my reflection again, but this time she's crying and staring at the key in her hand.
Desperately I reach out to the mirror but a screaming chorus starts up in my head.
I fall to the ground, clutching my head.
Worthless.
Stay here.
No one needs you.
No one loves you.
The door opens, tempting me with freedom and light.
Everywhere I look I see my reflection, taunting me with the key.
But I know I'll never walk out.
The voices get louder and everything goes black.

I hear soft footsteps when I regain consciousness again.
I don't bother opening my eyes.
"Cutie?"
My eyes fly open and I stumble to my feet. "You're here."
"Of course I am. I can't leave my girlfriend alone."
I turn away and observe my reflection.
Dried blood covers my right hand, fresh cuts across my left wrist drip blood onto the ground, and... tears... fall from my eyes.
I gasp as I feel arms gently wrap around me. "You... You can't be in here."
"Shh... Let me take care of you."
My reflection smiles sadly back at me as I'm gently carried out of my prison by an angel.
You'll be back, my reflection mouths at me.
Then everything goes white.
