I slowly open my eyes and groan. Peaches is right next to my face and it looks like they're trying to eat my hair. Ughhhhhhhh. Why did I have to stay roommates with Maxine and Peaches, instead of my little sister?

I push Peaches off of my bed then get up and get ready to start my day.

I walk to the garden to meet up with my friends, recently people have been calling them "Gilly's Gang". I don't like it when they do, but they never listen when we tell them to stop.

"Thief! Over here!" I hear Jax yell. I can't stop a smile from spreading on my face.

Get it together Gilly! It's not like you like him or anything so pull yourself together!

I force the smile off of my face before starting toward my friends. I see Ollie running from Jocelyn with a patty cake in his hands.

Pathetic, ridiculous idiots. Why am I friends with these stupid, weak children?

Wait, what?

Was that my thought?

I could never think that way about my friends... right?

I reach my friends and force on a fake smile.
"Hey guys! What are we doing today?" I ask.
Kayla looks at me and smiles widely.

"We're going into the woods to find the perfect spot for our party!" AG says. Maxine smiles from ear to ear.

Fools. How did we win against Stiltskin with these morons?

There are the thoughts again.

I force my smile to stay and look at the woods.
"Okay! Let's go get started!" I exclaim. With that we all run into the woods.

Hopefully all I need is some time in the woods to make those thoughts go away. I think.

Right as we enter the woods a hear a voice that seems to echo in my head.

Idiots. You will live in fear. I am coming back. I'm practically already here.

No one else seems to hear the voice.

Leave me alone! I think, hoping the voice will hear. I didn't hear voice for the rest of the day, so I guess it worked.
